For the past 24 years, The Virtual Reality Medical Center (VRMC) has been using simulation technologies in three main areas: 1) treating patients with anxiety disorders, 2) training for both military and civilian populations, and 3) enhancing various educational programs.

Moments after take off, the passenger hears the captain's voice over the intercom. While listening to his reassuring tone, the passenger looks out the window to his left. He witnesses clouds passing by, the slight bounce in the plane's wing, and the sun following in the horizon. VRMC's VR Flight simulation provides the user with all of these experiences and more.
VRMC currently has only Non-paid internships available to students still enrolled in an academic program. It also has Non-paid Volunteer positions available through its affiliated non-profit, Interactive Media Institute. Internship and Research Opportunities these are non-paid internships but may qualify for class credit.

The central tenet of VRMC's quality assurance program focuses on continuous process improvement. This quality assurance approach is applied consistently across all production sites. Each member of the VRMC Team involved in the production of system components has implemented a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) to ensure a consistent quality approach across all team members and sites.
