I was born and raised in Mendocino County. My interest in veterinary medicine started in high school when I starting working at a two doctor veterinary hospital. From there my life took me to Sacramento where I spent almost two years working at a specialty 24/7 facility. I have been on the Central Coast for 15 years.
One of the Core Values of Las Tablas Animal Hospital is to be an active and supportive member of the Templeton community we serve. Celebrate our country's birthday at Templeton's largest annual event! The day starts with the fire department's annual pancake breakfast, then the crowd makes its way to Crocker or Main Street for the hometown parade, which is followed by a big, fun celebration in the park.

Routine exams keep your pet happy and healthy! Las Tablas Animal Hospital recommends that healthy adult pets visit the vet once per year for a wellness exam. Seniors and pets with chronic health issues may need to be checked more often, and young animals under a year will likely require several visits for vaccinations to ensure immunity.

You'll get the best care at this Veterinary Hospital. Being in the upper range of the 70s and an animal lover, I've seen my share of vets and veterinarian hospitals over at least 50 years. Doctor Edsall is the best I've ever had, we were fortunate to meet Dr. Wagner last week, and we always loved Dr. Lucy. Carol just retired, and Linda is still working: she is wonderful. The vet tech staff is capable and professional. LTAH ROCKS! 🐻👍

Recommended by my dog's groomer. Both my dog and I were very happy with our first visit there. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The vet, Dr. David Edsall, spent time getting to know my dog, answered all my questions, and gave helpful suggestions. The place was clean. We will definitely be going back.

These technicians and doctors are so professional, even with difficult animals who get anxious and bite at the vet's office. I appreciated how well they took care of my furr babies (especially my biter), and how quickly we were face to face with the doctor after arrival.

I bring all 5 of my cats here. I have had appointments with all three of the Dr's here over the years, and they all do an amazing job. The service is always great. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. They truly care about the animals they see, and they always do their best to fit us in for emergencies. I can tell that my cats are less scared going to this vet than other ones, which really shows me that they treat them well. I trust them completely with my furbabies, and I can't recommend this veterinary practice enough.

Dr. Edsall is an excellent doctors we feel very secure and confident in giving the care of our Shelties. to him. He is compassion it and understanding. He never talks down to you he listens and treats you like you are a team playing in the medical care of your pet. The staff is very efficient. They have things done before we even ask. They are always polite patient and never rude. Las Tables Animal hospital is the best vets office in our 15 years of looking for tge right one.

My beloved bunny, Bobby passed away this morning. I called yesterday to ask if Dr. Edsall could see him but the receptionist said he was booked. I told her Bobby needed to be seen and she said call Atascadero emergency hospital but I told her they do not see rabbits. She should have least asked Dr. Edsall if he could fit a very sick bunny into his schedule. He had treated Bobby twice before. If they would have seen him yesterday then possibly he could have been saved!

I take both my elderly dachshunds to Dr. Edsall and Dr. Beretta. One is paralyzed with many issues and one has an enlarged heart. Both Doctors have provided medically necessary care and compassion to ensure they both have the best quality of life. Their knowledge and experience gives us peace of mind.
