Rhode Island Hot Yoga
Our friendly teachers will make you feel comfortable in our studio from day one! Everyone here is passionate about their work and excited to share their knowledge with you. Whether you're brand new to yoga or you've been practicing for years, our skilled teachers will help you get what you need out of the class.

I took my first Hot Yoga class in 2004, during a summer break from college. I had practiced ballet since I was a kid and had dabbled in many different yoga styles, but I had never experienced anything like this! As a bendy ballerina, I was usually bored in yoga, but the hot yoga class was a real challenge and I loved it!
Services
We know that many of our students may need to limit the time that they spend around groups of people outside their household. It can also be tremendously beneficial to get some one-on-one time with an instructor! We are currently booking one-on-one and small group classes at both our locations. PLEASE NOTE: If multiple people will be attending the class, only one person needs to make a reservation!
We are currently live-streaming all classes at our Providence studio, as well as a selection of classes from our teacher's homes. All virtual classes are hosted using Zoom. Please register for virtual classes using our online booking system below. After registering, you will receive an email a with link and instructions on to join the class.
Want to access our classes on your own schedule? Our video library includes recordings of all our in-studio offerings - our full length Original Hot Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates, Baptiste Power Yoga, and Yin Yoga classes - as well as a selection of shorter classes (30 - 60 minutes in length) designed specifically for home practice.
When we mention the topic of virtual classes, so frequently we hear "I want to practice yoga at home, but I don't have the space!" I didn't either back in March, but when I realized that my studio practice wasn't going to be happening for any time soon I knew I had to throw something together. My house is fairly small and shared by three adults, but we made it work!
Our Providence studio is located on the west side of Providence, easily accessible from Route 6 and 1-95 and just minutes from downtown Providence. We have plenty of free parking, but the studio can be tricky to find the first time, so we recommend that you take a look at the parking map and the photos before coming for the first time.

I can’t say enough good things about RIHY and the staff. The yoga itself has had so many great benefits for my mind and body. The staff are not only kind and friendly, but they are supportive, engaging and challenging - truly great teachers.
This is my favorite yoga studio.

I have never stuck with an exercise class for very long. I prefer to run by myself. But a running injury brought me to Gianna's IHP class and long after i recovered i am still here. Gianna is THE most amazing teacher-- so precise, so many options for exercises to accommodate different bodies, so funny and real and encouraging but also NEVER fake or saccharine. Also awesome music. I have made my mom and sisters take her class too and now we're all kinda obsessed with her.

Thank you for providing such a plethora of classes through the virtual platform! I've loved taking new classes this week - Power/Restore with Ariadne, Hot Hatha with Steph, and Baptiste with Michael. Great new ways to come to the 26 postures and push myself by doing new series and flows as well. I can't wait to attend these classes in person when the studio is able to reopen.

I took the hips/back class last night with Kathleen. This was my first time taking this class. And I am so happy I did! This morning my back does not hurt! Kathleen was wonderful! She is patient and always offered modifications. I will definitely take this new class again!

As I'm approaching my 2 yr Anniversary at this studio, I cannot believe how long it has taken me to write a review! This studio, with all of its wonderful teachers and students, has changed my life. Plan and simple. It's like a second home to me, and I'm always finding ways to work it into my crazy schedule with a toddler. Since the addition of yin and inferno hot Pilates being a regular on the class rotation- it makes it that much easier. It's hard to explain how the heat and the meditation changes you in the 26 postures,b it just does. Everyone should try it at least once! Even if you hated it

Was traveling and stopped in. I’ve been practicing hot yoga ten years. This studio was very welcoming. Excellent teacher and prettiest and cleanest studio I’ve ever seen. I was in awe of the studio. I’ve been to about a dozen studios around the US and this was by far the best.

The studio is very welcoming, the space is very clean, the staff are all very pleasant and friendly. I have practiced a few years ago in the Philippines where I originally come from, but had to stop for cancer treatments. Going back to it, after a few years of non-practice is like starting all over again. Today was my 3rd class, and so far, all the instructors I've had (Alice, Liza and Zabi) were awesome. They are very skilled at teaching, very encouraging and very patient. I feel blessed to have found a perfect studio. It feels good to be there.
