My grandmother was suffering from a real bad pain in her right eye, after a few days we notice she was suffering from her cataract. I quickly called this office and they scheduled us right away and took care of her like if she was their own grandmother.

Eye Care Specialists of Florida is a Kissimmee ophthalmologist that not just cares for your eyes, but cares for you. We focus on exceptional customer care in modern, comfortable surroundings. Telemedicine appointments are available to our patients who can't come in to the office, it will allow you to experience convenience and flexibility. All you will need is an internet connection for your virtual appointment which will allow you to have a video-based appointment. You can also choose a Voice/Audio only appointment.
Dr. Choudhri held a clinical faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Wilmer Eye Institute, John Hopkins University School of Medicine, the premier Ophthalmology Institute in the country prior to relocating to Florida. She currently has an appointment as Assistance Professor of Ophthalmology in the volunteer faculty of the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

I was impressed with the professionalism of the technicians, but that's it.
Dr Choudhri's recommendation was to have a procedure not covered by any insurance program, which runs $250 per treatment every 2 months. I received a second opinion, who thought this was absolutely, 100% unnecessary.
Additionally, there was no soap in the restroom...at a DOCTOR'S OFFICE. I brought this to the attention to the receptionist, whose response was "Oh, yeah, we need to order that."
I cannot possibly emphasize how much you need to avoid going here.

Dr. Saira A. Choudhri 7 years ago operated me and my wife for bilateral Cataract Surgery with excellent results. She is up to date on all Eye diseases and is Board Certified on her specialty. But she saw me last week for the annual follow up and she called us 30 to 60 minutes after appointment time. She also schedules more than one patient for the hour and that is why they call you late. Inside they did a test in which they take a picture of your retinas with blinding light and less than one minute after the picture they (the technologist) checked the eyesight although you are still bothered by

Everyone there Staff member was so amazing nice, as well the doctor, she did the Plaquenil test, on my eyes due to my medication for Lupus. Can affect my eyes.Great place to go Everyone there is Great make you feel comfortable. The doctor is the worse I met and far from patient friendly.
She told me I had major problems in my eye and needed glasses too.
She would only give me a script for glasses if I got them filled at her optical place in her office if not told me to pay another eye doctor to get a script to take some place else
Then her version of what was wrong with my eye I had checked 24 hours later by another eye doctor who said I did not have those issues at all with my eye

Front desk lady who answered my call put me on hold which was fine. She finally answered and confused me with another patient. I told her I think she got the wrong patient and then said “well okay what are you here for today ?” In an annoyed tone. I ignored it and told her about my situation and she cut me off and asked for my insurance. Asked me if I was coming in for glasses, said no. Told me in a rude way that they aren’t gonna make an appointment with me then. I am tired of these entitled front desk ladies thinking it’s okay to catch an attitude with people trying to make an appointment

Dr. Choudhri and the wonderful ladies on her staff have been taking care of my eyes for three years now. They are caring and concerned with you and your treatment. I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes and have have my vision back. I'm now 20/20 and 20/30 in my eyes which is a great big change from cloudy and can't read any road signs... with my most recent pair of glasses on!!! I highly recommend Dr. Choudhri and her people!

I had cataract surgery last month on my left eye and the right eye yesterday. I must say, Dr. Choudhri did such an excellent job, I would recommend her to anyone that's feeling uncomfortable about having surgery as I did. She and everyone else in the office makes you feel so comfortable even after the surgery is over. I am more than happy to give Eye Care Specialist if Florida more than five stars if I could. Keep up the great work ECSF.

My experience with eye care specialist has been beyond exceptional. The staff is super friendly and they truly do care for their patients. I had a very dense cataract and the doctor made it a point to get it removed with just one surgery. I cannot express how much I admire this place and the staff believe me if you come here you too will be very happy. They take the time to evaluate and ensure that you are taken care of 100%.
