Services
Since 1992, we have been pleased to serve Northeast Ohio bicyclists of all ages and abilities from our three stores in Medina, Peninsula, and Rocky River. We are not just a store, but a part of the community in the Cleveland and Akron area. We are a full-service shop, with sales, service, repairs, and bike rentals.
We are located north of downtown Medina on State Route 42, in the Marc's shopping plaza. This store has our largest selection of BMX and tandem bicycles! This store is located near the Adventure Cycling Association's Underground Railroad Bicycle Route. We are a member of the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce, and a Member Bicycle Shop of Adventure Cycling and Bike Cleveland.
We are located on State Route 303 right in the middle of the village of Peninsula, next to the railroad tracks and the Winking Lizard Tavern, and walking distance from the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail (exit at Lock 29), in the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We can be conveniently reached from State Route 8 or Interstate 271 (see directions below).
We are located on Detroit Road between Wagar Road and Wooster Road, near the Rocky River Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. We are near the Adventure Cycling Association's Northern Tier Bicycle Route. We are a member of the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce, and a Member Bicycle Shop of Adventure Cycling and Bike Cleveland.
SWM, Doug has been with Century Cycles since 1997 after receiving a Parks & Recreation degree in the remote woods of Northern Minnesota, where he kindled his fondness for mountain biking. Also an avid fly-fisherman and camper, he enjoys most things outdoors. I started working at Century Cycles in the fall of 2004, after my previous career as a billionaire/cowboy/astronaut/computer programmer.

Beware. If you purchase a Giant bicycle with a lifetime frame warranty from Century Cycles, you are not getting that at all. Instead, you are getting a store with horrible customer service that will tell you that the customer is not right. You will be getting a product that could fail, and when it does they will not replace it even though there is a lifetime warranty. Instead they will act like they are spending their own money and fight you with reasons that have nothing to do with the actual product failing. So, if you use a bike to commute or even worse, actually ride it and not just have it

I am so happy and satisfied with my experience. I was in the process of rebuilding my road bike and had a couple of areas where i was getting stuck. This bike was bought from century bicycles in 2003. I called and brought the bike in.There was no wait. I was attended to immediately by a very knowledgeable technician. He went above and beyond my initial request and pointed out a couple of other issues (that i was unaware of) and took care of it promptly. The prices were very very reasonable. I would recommend Century bicycles to anyone looking for great service and value and above all a very friendly

Honestly could not ask for more in a bike shop. Consistently great customer service every time I walk in the door, high quality work for repairs, parts, etc. Most recently I ripped out the spline on my pedal, they got me the new part for an extremely fair price, tuned up the gears/brakes, and now everything is riding like new despite having 4 hard years on the bike. I wish all businesses were as friendly and effective as Century!

Amazing! I stopped by just as they were closing and was going to go home and try another day but they took my bike in and luckily all it needed was air in the tires. They really went above and beyond what they needed to and what I expected and I super appreciate it! They stayed late to help me out when they absolutely did not have to and I just wanted to say thanks again!

Century Cycle staff is amazing! I bought a bike recently and the bike was assembled and ready within a day! Cathy was excellent assisting with bike accessories and assembling the bike rack! I didn't get the guy's name but he patiently described the bike rack that I bought. There was no pressure and everyone was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. My favorite place for all cycling needs.

Family and I just experienced the coolest bike ride. We rented our bikes with the best customer service from Mr. Tim. He was super helpful and kind. Mr. Tim shared all that we needed to know and even engaged my kids on things to look for on the trails. When we returned our bikes Mr. Tim was there to greet us with kind eyes behind his mask. Truly invested in our bike ride. Asking “how did it go?” After wife came back from settling out bill, she so pleased by how the owners treated her. We will be back. Thank you for this great experience.

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are very reasonable and I didn't feel pressured into purchasing anything. After standing in line due to Covid precautions, I was able to test out several bikes, pick one, get a kickstand put on in it and purchase it in less than an hour during a very busy Sunday. I love my new bike and I highly recommend this place!

Went to Century Cycles for a brake and gear adjustment for my mountain bike. As soon as I walked in, the technician, Jim greeted me and asked for details on my bike. They were busy in their shop and for him to take the time to meet with me quickly was impressive. He put my bike on the rack and looked over my brakes and gears. He asked if I could leave the bike overnight and said it would be fixed and ready in a day or two.
Jim called me the afternoon of the same day and said that the adjustments had been done and that I could pick up the bike. All at a very reasonable price.

Century Cycles in Medina has been great to work with as we had to replace two bikes that were stolen. We found two bikes that are just right for us and all the accessories that we needed. Lynne and Kathie are wonderful to work with! We picked out our bikes one day and they had them all prepped for us to pick up the next day. We go to Century Cycle for our bicycle needs. They are a great resource for information about organized, supported bicycle rides. They also help support bicycle safety in our community.

A different LBS changed the settings on my bike [after a fitting by Tom in December, 2015] & I contacted Tom for assistance. He saw me on the same day and adjusted the seat post, saddle and handlebar ... & straightened the rotor [which I hadn't noticed was slightly bent] ... re-taped a portion of my handlebar [adding special tape] and checked & adjusted my tube/tire installation. After perfecting my bike's metrics, etc., he said that there was no charge [as it was part of the original fitting]! Amazing! I knew that I was working with one of two dozen certified fitters

Purchased a bike from Century Cycles in Medina today. Had been looking for a couple of months and had visited other bike shops and big box stores. I'm petite so I really needed a bike specifically for my size. We went here because of their great reputation and Kyle could not have been more helpful. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions, which were a lot since I'm just getting back into biking. We're so glad we purchased my new bike from Century Cycles.

Super disappointed. Stopped in with the intent to purchase 2 bicycles. There was only 1 other customer in the store. We walked around for 10 minutes and were never greeted, never asked if we needed help or never told someone would be with us soon. Three staff members were in the store during this time. We ended up walking out and went to another bike shop in Medina. I'm amazed the other reviews boast about the great customer service.... Not this time.

The Staff at Century Cycles in Medina, OH is awesome they are friendly, helpful great advice willing to help you find the gear you need, suggestions, they also offer classes, Nice thing is they offer suggestion before they do it and give you a rough idea how much and how long it would be. Their quick, fast, easy willing to work with you. You cannot beat their customer service! There is only one bike shop I go to and it's century cycles! I will not go and get work done at any other Bike shop other then century cycles.

After I was treated with disregard by the grumpy owner at Medina Bicycle Shop last week, I needed a pick-me-up. Thankfully in his dismissal, he referred me to Century Cycles. Talk about making lemonade from lemons. . this was nothing short of a divine appointment!
Bob Soroky greeted me at Century Cycles and treated me like I was his only customer. When I explained that I bought a bike off of Craig's List and needed a professional to look it over and make sure it was safe and in good condition, he graciously obliged. I wheeled my Schwinn
