Welcome to Mountain Run Winery's online storefront for shipping to Virginia and DC addresses. Shipping/Handling rates are $15 per order and then an additional $2 per bottle shipped. Orders will be shipped through Fedex. You can also arrange for curbside pickup at the winery, or local delivery in Culpeper.
Mountain Run Winery prides itself on the production of small-batch, distinctive, high-quality wines, ciders, and meads. Our wines range from sweet to dry with something for every palate. While the availability of each wine ranges from year-to-year based on the harvests, we typically produce up to 20 wines each year.
Corporate events, retirement parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, reunions and baby showers. The Stable is a historic 30' x 40' horse barn built in 1902 that has been refurbished with a polished concrete floor, string lighting, electrical outlets, two 8' ceiling fans, two large doors, and a three story ceiling.
Nestled in a beautiful pastoral setting in the heart of Culpeper County, weddings at Mountain Run Winery are simple, rustic, and simply extraordinary! The winery is located on 36 rolling acres in Culpeper, VA and offers a beautiful, rustic setting that creates a unique backdrop for an unbelievable wedding day.
Mountain Run is a small waterway that flows from Mountain Run Lake along the back edge of our property and then into Lake Pelham. You won't be able to see Mountain Run itself from our property unless you sign up for a private tour of the property. If you've never visited Mountain Run Lake Park before, it's a mile up Mountain Run Lake road from our winery, and the view of the lake with the mountains in the background is stunning.

Very unique venue with the tasting room in the corn crib of a very old barn. It was kinda cool on our visit with a November breeze blowing through the slatted walls of that old corn crib, so we took our flights upstairs to the heated sipping room. I would return to explore more of the venue another day. Tastings were $12 for four 2 Oz samples--a bit high for my purse.

I can't say enough about this wonderful place. My husband and I got married at Mountain Run Winery a year ago, and everything was absolutely perfect -- from the owner's incredible hospitality, to delicious wine in a beautiful mountain setting. The owners will absolutely make sure your day is everything you hope for and more, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the best wedding we could have imagined here.

A very quaint, family run winery. A nice relaxed setting to spend a few hours enjoying a nice wine selection. They also offer a crisp, refreshing sangria and a cider option. The owners are very friendly and eager to answer any questions. It is family and pet friendly, so if you are in the area stop in and give them a try.

A lovely winery with very kind staff! My friend and I stopped in while driving through Culpeper, and we were impressed with the variety and quality of the wines. It’s right off of 29, so very easy to get to, but it feels like you’re out in the country.
I especially was intrigued by their unique wines, like Petit Verdot and their Culpeper Crimson (Norton grapes) blend, since you dont often find wines made like these! I’ve photographed several weddings at Mountain Run Winery and it is definitely one of my favorite venues! The outdoor ceremony site has a gorgeous view and there are ENDLESS options for photo locations around the property. It’s a photographer’s dream! Even on a rainy day, the barn and covered front porch of the farmhouse are great backup options for the ceremony and for photos. The owners are amazing and my clients have all loved their experience with them.
I’ve visited the winery on non-wedding days also – the wines are wonderful and they’ve got so many fun events!
