Soma Pilates is a full service contemporary Pilates studio located in Redmond, Washington. We incorporate modern exercise principles, including current thinking about spinal rehabilitation and performance enhancement. At Soma Pilates we offer private and semi-private instruction, group classes, and workshops dedicated to insuring the highest standards of Pilates instruction.

We are also an authorized training center for Balanced Body Education. All of the staff here are very warm and welcoming to people from all walks of life, with different body types, and those with or without health issues. I can't imagine practicing pilates anywhere else.

You can call us at 425-869-0121. Janet and Angela's passion, love and value for Pilates is transparent, they have been able to transfer those same feeling to me.
We are experienced in working with injuries and other health concerns (pregnancy, MS, etc.). One of our studio's specialties is transitional Pilates, taking you from post-rehab to resuming your usual level of performance. If you have a new injury, please start with your doctor or physical therapist.
Janet is an excellent instructor. She has helped me to work through past injuries and build strength and flexibility through our sessions. She is very knowledgeable about exercise and fitness and ensuring exercises are done with the correct form. She truly cares about her client's best interest and in helping them to meet their fitness goals.
Pilates exercises are designed to develop longer, leaner muscles, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness. Pilates is for all fitness levels, all ages and body types, and all physical strengths and limitations. Pilates was founded by Joseph H. Pilates based on his work during WWI with fellow camp internees, and progressed to opening the first Pilates studio in New York City.
