Redmond Pilates Center has been dedicated to providing authentic Pilates taught by rigorously trained instructors since 2002. We provide individualized instruction tailored to your body's needs, not formula workouts or fad exercises. Pilates is a scientifically proven method for improving strength, balance, posture, flexibility, coordination, and muscle length and tone.

Our highly trained pilates instructors are certified in the Classical Pilates Method of Body Conditioning. They have completed the most rigorous Pilates training requiring at least 900 hours of physical training, education, and apprenticeship to gain the certification of an Classical Pilates instructor.

Classical Pilates is beneficial for men and women: young or old, athletic, sedentary, or in physical therapy. It is a system of body conditioning that is both gentle and athletic, known for its "feel good" and body transforming results. The results you see go far beyond just weight loss! In addition, they find they sleep better, have increased energy, stress release, and reduced fatigue and/or chronic pain.
Joe's definition of physical fitness was the "attainment and maintenance of a uniformly developed body with a sound mind fully capable of naturally, easily and satisfactorily performing our many and varied daily tasks with spontaneously zest and pleasure". Joe was born in Monchengladbach, a small town near Dusseldorf, Germany in 1880.

I have worked with about six or seven different kind of instructors in my life when learning new techniques and new exercises. The one thing I can tell you about Pilates it’s not about the equipment it is all about the instructor Who can help you improve your life not the equipment.
Courtney the young woman that runs this Pilates studio in Redmond, is so smart, kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Also when it comes to helping you improving and learning the new language of Pilates, she makes connecting new movements with your brain flow really easily. Which definitely means she has many years

I alway feel great after my session with the wonderful and classically trained instructors at Redmond Pilates. The money I've spent practicing with Courtney and her staff is one of the best investments I've made in myself for sure. The studio has plenty of room to spread out and Gratz equipment. I highly recommend this studio for keeping yourself strong and flexible!

You will not find a better group of Pilates instructors nor, a better Pilates experience. I recently had a very serious injury and, with the help of this studio's instructors, I am regaining my body and its strength. The well educated, experienced and positive instructors, as well as the Gratz apparatuses, are all a part of making this studio exceptional.

Courtney and the awesome instructors at Redmond Pilates Center have changed my life! I had chronic back pain for years and was looking into surgery when I was referred to Courtney. Now, I am pain free. Not to mention losing over 15 inches..from my arms, waist, hips and thighs. I have tried so many other workouts and belonged to countless gyms but nothing has improved my body and mind like pilates at Redmond Pilates Center! I could not be more grateful to Courtney and her amazing team!! I highly recommend Redmond Pilates Center!!

This place is amazing!
Instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. The space is comfortable to work in. Lots of light and flow to it. I would recommend this studio to all skill levels.

The owner, Courtney, is charging full price for the "late" cancelation WITHOUT letting you know!
She's simply subtracting a full session from your package and doesn't tell you... I got three sessions ($220+) subtracted from my package without a warning! All three were private sessions canceled due to emergencies with 14+hrs in advance e-mailed notice, and got replies implying that by letting her know I'd be ok. Please see the e-mail from the owner below.

There was NO indication of the charge... also not even a word when I came to the studio the following week.

I was an avid weight lifter in my younger days as I played college football but my midsection has never been as sore as it is when I leave Remond Pilates. Now that I have an office job this is exactly what I need. Pilates is a great fluid, non weight bearing workout. The instructors at Redmond Pilates, Courtney and Masha and both very skilled and extremely knowledgeable!

Tried them out on the recommendation of a friend who had a good experience with classes taught by the owner. I tried an introductory package with two different teachers and was less impressed. I don't have the dance background that many Pilates teachers/students have, and the teachers were unable to give verbal directions that felt clear enough to help me (as a non-dancer) understand what I was supposed to do. For the first time in years, I've been able to get a full workout in without pain the next day. This is due to Courtney, and her excellent team, who have been able to work around my injured shoulder and post-surgical knee. My PT says I'm progressing more now than I have in years and I attribute this in part to adding pilates to my regimen.

Courtney - the owner - is great. I have been going to Redmond Pilates for 6 years.

She works hard to find exercises to meet the specific needs of clients. I am a golfer and many golfers end up with back injuries. So, she makes sure I am engaging my stomach muscles (my core) and not using my back or cheating by using my shoulders. And I have figure out her way of encouraging me is to demonstrate how the exercise will help me with my golf game. And admittedly, that works.

Two years ago after hurting my back and going through physical therapy, Pilates was recommended to continue to strengthen my body without causing further damage. I am SO lucky I found Redmond Pilates. Courtney, the owner, is classically trained and only hires classically trained instructors (Classical Pilates = the Joe Pilates version). This allows consistent instruction no matter which instructor you get. Each class, whether private or semi-private, is taught with an eye to individual instruction. I am asked at the beginning of a workout how my body feels and the instructor takes this into account

Best choice ever! I initially ventured into Redmond Pilates Center in 2009 due to chronic low back pain. Courtney was so welcoming and accommodating that I readily felt at ease. After my initial private lessons, I was feeling so much better that I began attending semi-private lessons 3 times per week. 7 years later and I wouldn't trade my pilates workouts for anything! Naturally, I am much stronger and my back pain has been alleviated but more importantly, my workouts are always challenging (mentally and physically) and fun. I mean, how could moves with names like the swan, monkey, teaser and stomach

After seeing my posture and figure deteriorate from years of sitting at a desk, I decided one day to stop the decline. I have always hated going to the gym; the masses running on treadmills and crowds pumping away on cycles was never for me, Boring! I wanted something that I would stick to and that would show me real results. I signed up for an introductory package at Redmond Pilates and have stuck with it for over a year. I had a pilates instructor I wasn't too impressed with prior to moving to Redmond. So it took me some convincing that I wanted to do it again, but being an athlete I knew that if done correctly it is one of the best things for your entire body. Like everyone else, I went online and checked out their website. When I saw Courtney doing some of the exercises on some videos online I had to call her, because I could tell she knew what she was doing. Very professional, excellent attention to detail and physical needs and limitations. You'll get great results with regular sessions. I had lost the hope to do an unaided sit-up prior to pilates. Now I do regular mat classes and maintain a strong core (and flat belly) -- it's addictive!

I've been going to Redmond Pilates Center for 2 and a half years now. My husband (that's right ladies guy's can do pilates too!) and I decided to try pilates because we have both had some injuries from doing Kung Fu. Plus we both work in IT and sit at a desk 10-12 hours a day.

Since I've been going to pilates it's totally changed my life and my body. Pilates has strengthened not just my core, but my entire body. It's changed how I look at exercise. I remember taking classes at the gym or with a trainer and counting down the time until it was over. After 2+ years

Redmond Pilates Center is an AUTHENTIC Pilates center that teaches REAL Pilates. The studio is very welcoming and the instructors are very knowledgeable. They skillfully work with any body type and any sort of injury (bad knee) or limitation (super stiff). I noticed significant improvements in my flexibility, strength and balance within 5-10 sessions! I love the way my body feels, I have more energy and I now know how to use my core muscles in my everyday life. I love Redmond Pilates Center! I would recommend it to anyone.

I like Redmond Pilates. That is, I like the RESULTS I get from working out here. I've been taking class once a week for about a month and a half and have really noticed a difference in my midsection and hip/thigh area. That being said, I'm not a fan of a couple of things about this place:

The hard upsell to packages. I wanted to try a couple sessions out first and didn't want to buy a big package right up front. The upsell was pretty aggressive, and I had to spend some time explaining my rationale for not wanting a big package, which made me feel uncomfortable and a bit like they

This place allows you to do beginner drop-in sessions before you purchase a package. If you feel that you are not as flexible as you thought, then $12 is all you have to sink in. The trainer was very thorough with her instructions and made sure that the people with physical limitations (lower back pains and such) didn't injure themselves. She also didn't try to kill us with crazy pretzel moves, which is always a plus. Pilates is a great way to strengthen, tone, and balance your body. It is also recommended as a supplement to your regular workout. A supplement???
