Horrible horrible facility!!
Day 1: no history taken, no blood drawn, 1 x-ray and a rude staff, Dr. Gave me some far fetch suggestions and sent home.
Day 2: I'm much worse, I go back, they do a CT scan and draw blood, now I get a diagnosis, get meds and sent home.
Day 3: not reacting well to medication, they take my BP but can't get a reading then get frustrated with me because of it, get in a room, extremities are going numb at this point I ring the call button no response I proceed to hit it about twenty more times before I walk out of my room, only to see every single nurse behind the counter

I went to get heart scan done which was advertised for $50 cash. No insurance needed. But they still sent me a bill for $800 and I had to go in twice to see the cashier and they said matter is taken Care of but I still get letter in the mail asking for $800. I wish I had not gone there. BEWARE of SCAM!!!! @reply I ordered it online. I am glad the issue has been resolved.

Let me start by saying the 1 star rating has nothing to do with the nursing staff… THE NURSES ARE WO NDERFUL.
The 1 star is in regards to the administration, facility maintenance, the operating procedures, and the lack of communication.
My mother had a surgical procedure 2 days ago and was scheduled to be discharged today. We were notified at 11:45am that she would be able to leave in approximately 1 hour (that means 1pm ish, right?). At 4pm we were still waiting, after no less than four inquiries. We were repeatedly assured her discharge was “in the works” and “it shouldn’t be much

From the moment I walked in until my discharge I had an exceptional experience. Check in was smooth, due part to the calls I received the day prior to sort out insurance and my required preparation. The medical staff put me right at ease. Everyone was personal and caring; I know I am a skittish patient and their care meant the world to me. I have always believed people are the foundation of any organization and DMC staff certainly proved that to me. They all made an uncomfortable procedure so much easier and I am very grateful. Thank you all.

Not sure how I feel about my experience with Dallas Medical Center. I was brought in by Farmers Branch Fire Department. Received an IV and EKG in route.
When DMC received me continued IV & EKG, drew blood for blood work everything came back normal within 45 minutes I was out the door. I was still kind of loopy when somebody walked in and said you're not having a heart attack you're not having a stroke in your blood work looks normal. You're free to go.
Compared to past experiences with emergency rooms "years ago" this was faster, but a completely different experience.

They were very fast about getting me in for my UTI and we discovered that I also have a kidney stone. They did an excellent job on helping me with the pain, they even offered for me to be admitted for a night. I didn’t have to wait long. They gave me new prescriptions to help with pain and to get rid of this infection. I feel so much better after going here. I would be way worse if I hadn’t gone here. Thank you for taking care of me!

Do not come here. My husband had what we thought was heart burn so brought him to the ER where he was helped very well. He then got transferred to a room overnight where he was also checked up on regularly. However the day shift never checked on him aside from the 3 meals sent. The head doctor told us at 3pm that he is okay and only needs store bought ibuprofen and will be checked out within the hour. It is now 7pm and we are patiently waiting to be released so asked the nurse if his discharge papers are ready and she proceeded to tell us that he has to STAY OVERNIGHT AGAIN. When the doctor told

I didn't know what I had. I was just running a high fever, no chest pains. Haven't been in contact with anyone with covid. I do understand they are overwhelmed and possibly understaffed. But both my Flu and Strep came back negative. After taking a covid test, they sent me home hours later with no medication saying I had a URI. They took X-rays, never saw them. I felt really neglected. I called the next day to ask about when I'd get my covid results staying away from my family at the moment and the lady on the phone said 2-5 days. I call 2 days later just to be told they cancelled

We took my son here to the ER with intense stomach pain that turned out to be pancreatitis that led to eventual kidney issues. Because of covid we weren't able to be inside with him when he got admitted and understood the rules. However it was like he fell into a black hole, it was so hard to get good communication about what was going on with him. Once we set up with a hippa password it got somewhat better, and we did understand that family anxiety and knowledge had to take a lower priority than patient care but many return calls were promised from doctors and nurses and never received. You have no right to privacy when going through the ER at this place. Expect at least 4 adults male and female to be in your exam room while you fully disrobe right in front of them. If you ask them to please step out while you change in to a hospital gown... Expect the reply to be it's not like we have not seen it all before. Unprofessional, disgusting and wrong on every level. I give my dog more respect while relieving himself. When this female made that ignorant statement to me I picked up my purse and walked right out the door. Sick with pneumonia and could hardly get a full breath I refused

Went there off the street for a Cardiac Calcium Score which their website says, "... this $60 special is a cash price, and no insurance claims will be filed. Five months later I got a bill for $675 from a doctor I never saw. It's been nothing but runaround ever since. Good thing my cardiac calcium score was good because the stress from their billing is surely not healthy!

My best advice is never ever ever allow yourself or anyone that you love to be admitted into this Hospital. I just transferred my sister from this hospital to Medical City North Hills. This Hospital Not only was giving her bad care but was treating her for a stroke when she did not have a stroke. Within 10 minutes of talking to her new doctors we had a diagnosis and we had a cure and had she stayed where she was she would have starved to death. The only reason that I gave them one star is because we had a couple of nurses that were the bomb. I wish that I had asked them to transfer to another hospital

I can't say enough wonderful things about this facility. Everyone from admissions, the tech staff, doctors and facility leadership were kind, curt IOU's and really took take of my needs in a compassionate manner. Given my need for admission, I was less than cordial at all times - dealing with extreme anxiety and irritability at the beginning.
I actually came in through their "New Vision" service which is a medically supervised program that helps addicts (alcohol in my case) recover/taper off drugs comfortably. As a side note, alcohol and bezos are the only actual drugs you

This is the filthiest, most repulsive "hospital" I've ever seen. It smells like urine and feces on the hospital floor where my mother is sadly currently residing. Everything here is primitive and outdated. I have been working on this review with my mother and have her full consent to share what has been going on with her medical care here.
Her room was covered in medical trash. Old urine and blood drops on the floor (not hers). When I went to my car to get my jacket and came back in, I saw blood drops everywhere (in the elevators, on the lobby floor) that appeared to have been on

Do not even consider coming to this hospital. It is dirty, understaffed and very slow in responding to patients' needs. I called the administrator twice - and my call was never returned.
It took EIGHT DAYS to get new light bulbs. The TV has never been fixed.
The food is not edible. Just unappetizing - and I usually get the tray back in the hall after we remove the salad bowl - because the food stinks - literally.
Unfortunately we have to come back as my husband has to have surgery here in a couple of weeks. And this is where his doctor does surgery.
We dread having to be back here
