Services
Matt has been in and around the Construction and Real Estate world for most of his life. He has a Business Administration Degree from Lawrence Tech University and has been the owner of a building company constructing new homes in Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair Counties. In addition to being a licensed builder, he is a registered State of Michigan municipal inspector and certified well and septic evaluator through MCHD and MSU.
A Weatherstone Inspection covers just about everything we can visually identify. Obviously, not everything is visible. A Weatherstone Inspection is the comprehensive inspection that you should expect! We perform these inspections before closing to ensure not only the brand new home is complete, but that is was completed to the correct standards.
Our experienced home inspectors provide thorough and detailed inspections. We want you to have as much information as possible so that you can make the best decisions for your current or future home. Our reports come within 24 hours following the completion of the inspection complete with detailed descriptions of everything inspected along with photos.
A commercial building inspection is performed to help locate potential problems with the building. These problems may effect city codes or permitted use of the building. We can identify what needs to be prepared, what takes priority, and things we suggest get taken care of within a certain time before it poses a problem.
Our services don't stop at home inspections. We perform a variety of ancillary inspections to ensure every aspect of your new property can have a good, detailed description of the condition it is in. These are completed to determine if the home may be refinanced or needs repairs completed with a 203(k) Loan.

Great job. Found some issues that I wouldn't have thought to look for including electrical socket test, broken window seals, and a missing pressure relief valve. Educated me on how to maintain certain home features and expected life expectancies. Basically paid for himself and then some. Unfortunately couldn't get on the roof due to weather and safety concern. Understandable. Didn't try to sell me anything. Assuming nothing critical was missed I would recommend to family and friends.

I would recommend Weatherstone Property Inspections to anyone purchasing a new home.
Corey Jalbert performed a very thorough inspection that covered everything from the chimney roof flashing to the basement sump pump. He seemed very knowledgable and was helpful with his observations and recommendations.
Getting the peace of mind that the house was solid and knowing what was in working order and what repairs were needed definitely made the inspection worth the price.

The guys from Weatherstone were very thorough and conducted themselves in a professional manner. My report was 70+ pages and included photos so i could understand and see exactly what they identified as issues. Corey was absolutely awesome!!! He actually got to the house before I did and was very thorough and professional. He explained the process before he got started and every step of the way. Weatherstone Property got me in quickly for my inspection. Matt absolutely left "no stone unturned" when reviewing my property. The report they provide is extremely comprehensive and I'll be using it as my checklist as I fix up my property. It includes multiple pictures for each room or item. After my purchase offer was accepted on a home, Weatherstone was able to get in there the very next day and I received my inspection report first thing the following morning. While on site, the inspector was very thorough, but also completely respectful of the property. The report was extremely detailed and included color photos with pertinent items identified by circles and/or arrows, in addition to highly descriptive text. This is everything that I could possibly want from a home inspection. The price is more than fair and my lender is also quite pleased. They will be my go to anytime I need
