Lemon Nails

The lovely ladies at Lemon Nails gave my wife and I wonderful manicures. My wife got the full set which was very nicely done plus she recieved numerous compliments. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail was truly incredible.

I had the opportunity to try a manicure and pedicure at Lemon Nails. The technicians did a nice job. For some reason I had a different technician for each service although it was all in one appointment. The price was reasonable and they had a large selection of polish including OPI, Essie and Dazzle.

Came to Lemon Nails on a whim while I was visiting Glenview for the weekend. Was able to make appointment an same day for mani/pedi. The shop is clean, bright and beautiful. The technicians are very friendly and professional. Nara did my pedicure and did a wonderful job. Bella did my nails. I originally wanted to get an acrylic full set because I thought I’d ruined my nails from all the biting. Bella counseled me and told me I didn’t need acrylic, that my nail bed was very nice and she could make my nails look beautiful without accrylic if I wanted her to. I agreed and she was right! First time coming here and I live in Evanston and this place is so worth the trip...next trip will be a pedi and nails along with my eye borrows...

After a little wait because of under staffing, I was very pleased with my service. It was a little pricey but I must say it was worth every penny. Amy was a pleasure and very attentive to my feet. I watched how every detail was perfected. On top of great service I didn't feel rushed even tho they were under staffed that day.

Owner is very rude! Doesn’t greet you at the door. Then tells me how I was wrong about my arrival. I called before making the trip and asked if I should make an appointment or can walk in. She told me they take walk ins until 6 pm, I walked in at 5 pm and was treated horrible. She had audacity to say to my face that she already has customers. Well, she was wrong on the phone, not me. She should have told me all this on the phone so I would have never come to this salon. Instead I would’ve chosen other better service. Would never come back. Terrible feeling.

I have been going to lemon nails for a bit. I don't work and so when I schedule appointments I am never in too big of a hurry but the past few times I have had to wait while the owner ate lunch with a friend, booked an appointment that they emailed to confirm not be on their books when I have gotten there, and had several nail techs jump between me and other clientel because they have overbooked themselves. They also speak to eachother about clients when they are frustrated in their language. They need to do a better job at scheduling employees..their being overbooked and rushing leaves everyone

My second time around to visit but towards the end of the day, might not have been a good timing. Regardless, customer service should not be a challenge at all, especially for an owner. She took off her face mask in front of me upon knowing that I was vaccinated though there was a glass shield on the table which was okay but managed not to take off mine. She was in a hurry doing my nails but she knew I signed up online for an appointment.
She wasn't polite in her ways. Cleanliness of utensils is another question at this salon. I am not sure at all, if the tools used were sanitized at all

I just had a wonderful pedicure with the owner Bella. The shop is very peaceful (one of few that discourage cellphones) and very clean. Bella was very precise and gave me a true spa like experience. Highly recommend!!

I really love coming here. It is clean and extremely sanitary. I see them sanitize after every person and take every precaution. I love the atmosphere- relaxing and comfortable. The owner is kind and gentle and the classic manicure lasts a week on me, which is rare. I highly recommend!

This place is like a mini vacation getaway for a busy working woman. I look forward to coming here. My no-chip nails always last a month. The polish on my toes last long as well. So relaxing and the interior design is perfect for social media photos 🙂

Had a Mani pedi today here. It was my first time. And the work was professional and thorough. The young woman was friendly and very attentive. I did not ask her name but she had a white and black polka dot hair band. Will definitely ask for her next time.

I have a heart condition and so I insist on cleanliness in any establishment, especially now. LEMON NAILS never disappoints. Bella, the owner had been doing my manicures for many years and I am so pleased to have found her. She is the ultimate professional. My nails are perfect each time I come. I am so grateful to have found her shop. It is a bright spot in my Glenview neighborhood.

Lemon Nails never disappoints! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the customers leave happy and satisfied. They have a wide range of bail polish colors and the atmosphere is warm and inviting! I highly recommend Lemon Nails 😀

I had my nails done here on 8-23-19 for no chip nail polish and my nail tech was Asian. Well she spoke the entire time, in her language to another tech sitting next to her. This was so rude and unprofessional. Bad enough she spoke to her fellow employee the entire time she did my nails, but worst part is she spoke her native tongue. which was very rude to the paying customer, and she did speak English to me and on the phone taking mail appointments. I was also going to have a pedicure but changed my mind. I almost left her a zero tip but my husband left her 5.00 tip. Got to be honest, I was tempted

Very similar experience as some other reviews I've been reading to see if I'm the only one. I've had some good experiences and some bad, but the most horrible was when they cut my fingers. They used a cotton ball dipped in some kind of liquid to stop the bleeding, but it hurt immensely. I still tipped because I always feel bad if I don't tip, but I'm seriously regretting it now.

One star is a stretch for this place. They do not use clean tools, unfriendly staff, and poorly decorated salon. They wouldn't let me use an in date coupon and insisted it was expired. Not a positive experience in any way. Also, be careful because they use UV light for gel manicures...UV lights can cause cancer. Most salons use LED lights these days. Avoid this place at all costs!

I am a frequent customer and bring my daughter and my mom. Always a great experience. Clean, relaxing and professional. Always a great mani and pedi. While I have had all the technicans, I adore Ari! Highly recommend!!!!

Wanted this to be a nice experience, as we all do when getting experiences like this!

My daughter called ahead of time for pricing info and to check availability. No problem on appointments and 20% off mani pedi Monday and Tuesday.

The woman doing no chip mani for my daughter was friendly, nice, talkative, etc.

The woman starting my manicure...not so much. Pretty sure she didn't say a word. On to the pedicure....
I was wearing leggings and asked her to pull them up (as my nails were still wet). She pulled them half way up my calf. She didn't offer to put down the arm rest on the chair

Love this place. Girls are really nice and friendly. Salon is clean, with a nice design. I've been going to the other place across the street for many years, but they closed the salon 3 years ago, for some time I couldn't find good place to go, and ones in rush I just ran into salon for a last minute manicure, they did a great job.
So now I am going only to Lemon Nails for mani and pedi. Happy with the job the do!

I stopped in one day on the recommendation of a friend. They were accommodating, friendly and did a great job on my no-chip manicure, I have been back several times and the staff is consistently nice.

The salon is very clean and they autoclave the instruments between clients.

They offer hot tea and had the TV on to TV Land or one of those old channels, so it was a nice little break :)
