Services
Our family back in Turkey has been involved in the food business since the 19th century. We have lived in all over Anatolia in villages, small towns, and big cities. As a result, we have had the chance to learn and know a wide variety of Turkish food. In addition, we have traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, the Far East, Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, which has given us a chance to try other cuisines as well.
Cafe Mangal comfortably seats up to 45 people for any kind of special event in a very pleasant and cozy dining room set up with a friendly service. We can customize your menu according to your needs. Our menu has a Mediterranean influence and includes mezes (appetizers), salads and main courses (chicken, meat and fish dishes).
From Route 9 West (coming from Boston). Take the exit for Route 16(Washington Street). Follow Washington Street approximately 2.5 miles into Wellesley. The restaurant is located on your right just past Wellesley Town Hall and before you reach the five-way intersection of Washington St. Rt. From Route 128/I95 (either direction).

Warm, consistent, fresh, quaint, real and cozy are all the adjectives that come to mind at this beautiful Wellesley restaurant . Besides I love any place that gives respect to a salad(great portions too) Only wish they would have more vegan soups and vegan choices in general . At present ALL their soups are non-vegetarian .

From the moment my team walked in after a long run to when we left with our savory food in hand we were greeted with a warm sense of friendship by the manager and his staff. At cafe Mangal they provide a real sense of professionalism and a genuine care for each customers well being. Not only is the service great, but the food is amazing. I got the Yengen sandwich which was perfectly toasted and provided each bite with a nice blend of sweet tomato, gooey cheese, and meat. Highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

Chef Mehmet's food is delicious and the service is exemplary. This was our first time trying the food at Cafe Mangal, and we ordered a selection of vegetarian dishes from their thoughtfully designed dinner carryout menu. The meal was absolutely fantastic. The directions to reheat were detailed and every single dish-- especially the complementary artichokes in olive oil-- was fresh, unique and delicious. Chef Mehmet also followed up with us to ensure that we enjoyed the meal. We look forward to enjoying his wonderful culinary creations again, and would wholeheartedly recommend Cafe Mangal to anyone

Been to cafe Mangal for dinner a couple of times & never been disappointed. Found myself in Wellesley Friday afternoon & decided to have lunch here. Ordered the small tomato & mozzarella sandwich & soup combo. The sandwich was delicious & the salad was so refreshing. I didn’t realize the vegetable barley soup had beef in it so I skipped it ( I don’t eat beef) My friend said it was decent. I’d love to come back & try a few other things from the menu.

Best Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. This is the 2nd time i have been here and both have been fantastic. I had a very unique lamb kofte, humus, and the most famous original Turkish baklava. Finished it off with Turkish tea. This was an amazing experience, great food and great atmosphere. A truly authentic taste. Thank you for the great hospitality.
