Ducharme Dermatology, PC is a full service medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology clinic in Clive, IA. We see patients with a variety of ailments from unsightly growths, aging-related concerns, and hair loss to chronic rashes, psoriasis and skin cancers.
Among our many services provided, we offer on-site Mohs surgery for certain types of skin cancers, light therapy for rashes, psoriasis and other types of skin conditions, allergy patch testing, and PRP injections for hair loss.Patients can expect to be greeted warmly and promptly by our outstanding front-office and with care and compassion by our experienced nursing staff.

Mohs surgery is a highly effective technique for the removal of skin cancer whereby progressive 'layers' of skin cancer are removed and analyzed under microscope until the entire cancer is eliminated. Our care team performs multiple Mohs procedures each week with almost all wound closures done on-site.
Erin Ducharme, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist serving Iowans in Greater Des Moines and surrounding areas from her Clive clinic. Prior to opening her clinic in 2018, Dr. Ducharme served as Chief Dermatologist at the VA in Des Moines where she was honored to serve our nations veterans. Before her time at the VA, she set up and ran the Dermatology practice at the Iowa Clinic in West Des Moines.

My primary care provider recommended me to this dermatologist. When they called to schedule an appointment, I ask up front how much this would roughly cost me. Knowing they could not give an exact figure mind you! I was told roughly $180. I scheduled the appointment. Lo and behold I get a bill in the mail for $450+. I literally got charged a $185 “new patient fee”. They knew my bill was going to be substantially more on top of that but neglected to tell me. I only went because my PCP referred me. If I was told the costs up front I would have never made an appointment. I tried calling to dispute

I started going to Ducharme Dermatology because of cystic acne. From my first appointment the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. I felt like Dr. Ducharme really cared about my problem and was there to help. After 6 months on accutane my skin was clear and I'm so happy.
