Services
Dermatologists are trained to treat patients of all ages, from newborns to 100+ year olds. This includes the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of problems of the skin, hair, and nails. We utilize multiple diagnostic techniques including dermoscopy (magnified, polarized light allowing physicians to see skin lesions in greater depth and detail), investigative laboratory and microbiology, and microscopic exams.

I am very impressed: for one the design of this building is incredible. I am a Dinosaur in technology but I have some cellphone skills but not enough so electronic devices and paperless systems can be difficult for me plus I have learning disorders and at least 25 Diagnoses that I may wear too well for people to believe😀.The staff here are very pleasant to talk to and I feel like I am getting excellent care here. Please understand that I am honest and possibly too honest for my own good.

The service at Central Iowa Dermatology was fantastic. I called in the morning and got a same day appointment. The staff is very professional, organized and caring. Emily did a great job explaining what was going on and what she was doing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions. I would highly recommend Central Iowa Dermatology.

If you’re looking for a new dermatology provider, look no further and schedule an appointment with Emily Erickson! She is incredibly wonderful and super kind! She listened to all my concerns and spoke to me as if I was the only patient in the world. She’s very caring and sweet, and she always made sure everything made sense to me, which is a very important aspect to me in a provider. She also made sure I was comfortable with my prescribed care and thanks to her, my skin has never felt or looked better! Seriously, don’t go to anyone else. GO SEE EMILY ERICKSON!

I recently stopped into CID to pick up a new skin care product and immediately impressed with how beautiful the building is. I was equally impressed with how friendly and welcoming the front desk staff Cori and Cassie are. I will most definitely be recommending CID to anyone I know with dermatologic needs. Terrible service, and rude nurses. We had an appointment set up for my wife and I but somehow they lost my appointment. We had been here a year ago with no issues. The front desk staff said they would look into and try to get us both in. After 15 minutes of waiting, the nurse finally came around to getting us and tells us that they can just see my wife. We ask if they can just screen us both quick and her retort was they are running behind so I won't be able to be seen. I highly suggest finding a professional and reputable place, and skip these jerks.

I love CID. I've only had good experiences at this clinic. The staff is professional and I felt very safe during the pandemic. Bri was very thorough and thoughtful with all of my questions and concerns I had about my skin during our intake. I also bought a skin care package and Cheyanne did an amazing job. I could really see a difference in my skin.
