Dr. Myers is a New Jersey Licensed Psychologist and Board Certified School Neuropsychologist. He received his Doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Arizona, College of Education, and his Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Myers provides psychotherapy services for adults, adolescents, children and families, as well as, parent coaching and consultation. He conducts comprehensive psychological, psycho-educational, and neuropsychological assessments to assist in the treatment and remediation of mental health and learning challenges, as well as, to assist in legal proceedings.

Dr. Myers' training and experience is diverse, yet specialized. He has worked with adults, adolescents and children in a variety of clinical and educational settings providing therapeutic support and evaluation services. Dr. Myers aspires to develop authentic relationships with people, built on transparency, respect, and non-judgemental understanding.
Dr. Myers is a highly trained professional with expertise in the areas of human behavior, mental health assessment, treatment, and behavior change. He works with patients to foster awareness and insight and to develop healthier, more effective ways of meeting life's challenges. Psychotherapy is a collaborative effort between an individual and a psychologist.
With advanced training in the field of School Neuropsychology, Dr. Myers is adept at providing comprehensive Psychological, Psycho-educational, or School Neuropsychological evaluations for conditions covered under IDEA including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Dysregulation Impairment, ADHD, Intellectual and Learning Disabilities.
Dr. Myers is a highly skilled and effective School Psychologist with 14-years of experience serving school-aged children in the public education setting. He understands the legal parameters and challenges that parents may face in the process of seeking an evaluation and IEP. In fact, many parents are unaware that the school district is responsible for the identification and remediation of disabling conditions that affect learning.
Dr. Myers has provided forensic evaluations for the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP) for over 10 years. He has conducted both court-court ordered and non-court ordered evaluations of parents and their children involved with DCPP in Bergen and Hudson Counties.

Dr. Myers may be asked to evaluate families involved in an investigation and answer questions related to parenting capacity (risk assessment); to determine needs for therapeutic services; and/or determine placement for children and conditions of contact with parents.
