While we love animals at Charles J. Greve & Co. we must be careful to ensure that our owners property is protected and our tenants are not disturbed. Unfortunately none of our properties allow dogs. Most of our properties do however allow cats as long as they are neutered/spayed. Any other pets should be discussed with one of our agents and may or may not be allowed on a case by case basis.

I've lived in a Charles J. Greve & Co. apartment in Shadyside for 3 years and have been very happy with them. We've needed minimal repairs, but anything we needed done was always completed by the next day. David Greve is very responsive to email (he writes back within 5 minutes usually), and the building has been well-maintained.

Wish I could give less than one star. They are not pro-active at anything. Everything takes days if not weeks and sometimes even months. We could not control our heat so the apartment was uncomfortably hot for months. The refrigerator broke and still has not been replaced. They also refused to replace it until it died. The management who works for the owners are lackadaisical and do not care about their tenants. They are terrible owners to live for. They do not clean before you move in and just all in all do not care for your living space only your rent. I would find anywhere else to live and will

Really bad experience with this landlord. They won't fix anything. They will ignore your privacy by entering the department whenever they want without prior notice. Maintenance are rude and incompetent. And forget about getting back your full deposit, they will just find any stupid reason to charge you.
