The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and EPA recommends that home owners and home buyers test their current or prospective home for the presence of radon gas in indoor air. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) strongly recommends that steps be taken to reduce indoor radon levels when test results are 4 picocuries per liter (pCi/L) of radon in air, or more.

How long does a typical inspection take? There are many variables we use to determine how long the inspection will take for your house. Typically, a standard 7 room 1,800sqft home will take approximately 3 hours to complete. We recommend the potential buyer to attend and participate in the inspection so that they can become educated on the components and maintenance of the home and we encourage questions along the way.

I highly recommend Morrison Home Inspection! We were first time home buyers and Kevin was referred to us for our home inspection by a coworker. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He even took time during the home inspection to educate us on what we’ll need to care for in our new home. The same day he typed up a comprehensive report with pictures. The report included not only items that needed immediate attention but also recommendations for how we can care for the home. I also had a question after the inspection and Kevin was just a phone call away. Kevin went above and beyond!

Kevin Morrison did a home inspection on my new home. He was very through, professional and knowledgeable. He found issues that were hard to see at first glance and documented them in a clear manner with a good description and photos. He answered follow up questions promptly by email after the report was delivered to us. I would definitely use his services again.
