Our mechanic shop has been in business for 20 years. We are a small auto repair shop that is family owned. No one likes to hear their car make a funny sound, and no one likes having to take their car to the shop. I will say that Hector's auto made the whole experience as quick and painless as possible. I really appreciated the time Quan took to explain what was going on with my car and to answer all of my questions. Great customer service all around. Will definitely come back here again!

Hector's Auto has been there for me a lot over the past year and a half since I graduated college. Quan and his team are top notch with communication, keeping you in the loop with what's going down, and explaining what needs to be done without trying to upsell you on anything. Also, I get $30 dollar oil changes here that are quick and last me 8,000 miles or so on my Honda Fit.

I love this place because I truly trust the mechanics. They always do only the work the car needs at an amazing price. They explain everything to you in a way you will understand and make sure you know exactly what you're paying here, which I really appreciate as a girl who knows very little about cars. Quan and his team were super helpful and friendly! I came in with a weird humming noise concern, and Quan test drove the car with me to narrow down the symptoms. He was very knowledgeable and up front with the pricing for the repair! Also really nice of him to show me how to tell which wheel was having the issue by spinning each of the wheels on the lift. The repair was done promptly and the car sounds great now!! Thanks guys!

These guys are the sweetest mechanics. All of them have helped me with my troublesome blue beetle!! The first day i went in, my car hadn't passed smog and desperate to fix it i googled some local auto body repair shops and this one was the closest, so i stopped by and within minutes they told me what i need, how much it would be and how long it would take. Since then i've only taken my car to them. Oscar is amazing! I definietly recommend this auto shop.

I’ve been taking the used car I got to Hectors Auto Shop since I purchased it last April. I needed tune ups, parts replaced, basically everything! And they knew how to fix everything! Now my car is in way better shape then it was when I first bought it. Hector’s auto shop is my #1 go-to for all of my car needs and it should be yours too! They don’t disappoint!

The owner Hector will make a point to let his customers know about all his certificates on his wall so questioning his work is out of the question. As a female client he was rude and arrogant when I would question what was being done to my vehicle which was annoying because I will see how different he was with male customers with more detail explanation since he couldn't fake an explanation for someone who knows about cars. I couldn't wait to leave the nightmare of service which cost 3x more than what I was expected to pay. Never ever will I bring my vehicle or recommend his shop. He

I love Hectors Auto! Finding a good mechanic is like finding the love of your life. I have gotten my throttle body, my intake manifold and my water pump replaced with Hectors on three different occasions. They provide fast and informative diagnostics.

Yesterday I took my 2008 528i bmw there to get checked out because it was leaking coolant real bad. The lady called me back and told me that is was going to be a total of 1100 dollars. She also mention I was going to need a thermostat...which I just replace last April along with the water pump. At the bottom is a list of things that he said I needed. I took it to another shop and he said I did need the reservoir tank and the top radiator hose. With labor I paid $365.00. This place is scamming ppl.

Maybe I called at a bad time. It IS retrograde after all. When I called in I stated the make and model of my car, and described very briefly what my car was doing. The guy cuts me off and blurts out "WE WOULD NEED TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC." I said "I understand that, I just had two questions regarding that. One, how much is the diagnostic, and two-" He cuts me off again and says "It's $100" I said ok, when I talked to my dad he said it may be the transmission or may be the catalytic converter. I would recommend to anyone, took my car to get check for my SRS light, Hector check out my car and was very honest with me he could of repaired my car and charge me lot of money but instead he told me my repairs where still cover under my original guarantee and he didn't even charge me a dime. I dealt with the owner and the Jr. and don't regret bringing my business over to this shop. I had been bamboozled before so I needed a shop where I could actually see the repairs that were done on my car and where the old part was at too. It is real hard to find trustworthy mechanics in LA, but needless to say these folks have earned my five stars. I referred my brother too and they fixed his Volvo.

Worst place I've EVER taken my truck I would HIGHLY recommend you steer clear. If I could give zero stars, I would. I was getting a replacement, refurbished part which they bought from a third party. When the part failed, they refused to even look at my truck without charging me over $100. They offered zero assistance for tow, which is understandable, but how rude they were in combination with refusal to even inspect that the part was not faulty was absolutely bad business. I ended up getting a replacement part from the third party. Thankfully they were MUCH more accommodating. Please
