I have been coming to University tire since I’ve bought my car and I’m so glad I found them! Their prices are fair and they explain to you what’s wrong with your car but they don’t treat you like you’re dumb which is a big thing for me.
If there are any problems with any of the repairs there’s a warranty on it so they fix it for free.
I don’t know where I would be in terms of my car if I didn’t go to them!

Brought my wife’s car into the shop due to some brake issues. John was very helpful and professional in letting me know the process of diagnosing and fixing the car. Sent me the link for what they recommend to get fixed, where you can virtually accept or deny the service. Everything was done same day. I would recommend going to this business to anyone needing repairs for their car.

My son and I were on our way to LA from Ohio. Broke down in Barstow. Trying to find a good mechanic in a new town is virtually impossible. University Tire is that place. They keep me up to date as I was flying back to Ohio. Fixed the car a day earlier than they said it would be finished and now my son had a place he can trust for all his car needs. Would recommend them 100%

Catalytic converter was installed after my car had it stolen. All personnel I interacted with at University Tire were knowledgeable, communicative, and friendly. Needed a knob replacement on my manual transmission shift stick. Sadly I couldn't find an original piece and had to purchase an after-market product that didn't fit precisely well. The folks at University Tire & Auto Service were able to make the replacement work and I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done. Super friendly, professional crew with integrity. And thankfully they are close to my apartment. Will definitely use them again!

My girl's tires popped so we took the wheels and had the tires replaced. Can't remember names but the dude that helped us was nice and the job was well done. I installed the tires later and noticed that one of the center caps looked a bit off, and when I came to pick up the second wheel the guys gave us the correct center cap and offered to fix it. I have my own tire spot in OC but this place is just as good. Price was justified for the quality of work and product. Plus they got a nice 190E parked in their lot, someone has an eye for undesired classics.

Went in for tire checkup and repair on 8/13. It was a tricky case that other tire shops just could not figure out. These guys finally figured it out--it was a cracked wheel that needed a replacement. Service was quick within 20 mins and each rep and mechanic was highly professional and friendly. I also liked their online estimate and approval system. Eryck was highly effective in communication by telephone call, voicemail followed by text message. Last but not least, this is one of the best looking auto service facilities I've ever been to. Very cool shop. They were highly communicative, very clear in explanations, fair on price, and quick to complete repairs! They let me know what was going on the entire time and never tried to up-sell or add in those little extra costs that so many shops tend to do. My vehicle has never ridden better or smoother. All the employees were incredibly friendly. Even the mechanics in the bays would say hello or greet you when they walked by. It's those little things that count. I've looked for a really great shop in the city for a while now..... Looks like I finally found it!

Wonderful service - Diante and a tall slender guy - both exceptional service - I busted one of the entire new tires less than an hour after I bought them - something cut it really bad - I was sooo upset - Diante (spelling?) sent someone to me to put the donut on - I went back to the shop and Diante replaced it with a new tire no charge - I couldnt really afford the price but I needed them so I financed the rest!!! pay it off in 100 days and no finance charge! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I took my car in 12:15pm due to a flat from a nail. An easy and 20 min fix. I was told that they were backed up and it would take 1 1/2 hours. No problem. I came back 2 1/2 hours later and my car still was not even looked at. The owner and his son saw to it that I be serviced immediately so I had to wait another 1/2 hour! The plug cost $40. I think they should have discounted me for the inconvenience. What do you think?
