The projected time of service completion took nearly 4 hours longer and I had to wait on a Saturday. I initially sat outside on a shaded wooden bench, then watched NBC Olympic coverage inside on the TV. Thankfully there was a bottled water unit to quench my thirst. That was cool.
Services: Check engine light diagnostic, Air conditioning, Oil change, Steering/Suspension, Wheel alignment

I have a 2004 BMW X3 approaching 200,000 miles that has primarily been driven in Connecticut and Montana (i.e., it's rusty). Alpine was able to overhaul my suspension faster and cheaper than anticipated.
They were communicative and clear with their recommendations and provided great advice as to when used parts would suffice and when I should opt for new parts. I appreciated their honest guidance (particularly from Sevak) and I couldn't be happier with my car. It drives like a dream again.

I spoke one of the managers at Alpine BMW and he explained the return policy to me we discussed the misunderstanding. He offered to give me store credit for the return of the stereo and I really appreciated that. I have done business with Alpjne in the past with great results. They do excellent service and long lasting repairs. It was just this one incident that didn't go well in my eyes. I should have been a little more patient and inquired about the return and credit policy more.

Had the part I was looking for. Exactly as described, no shady business. They were quick to get it off the car.
Friendly staff, very knowledgeable about what they had as far as parts.
Nice lobby area. It's air conditioned, comfy couches, water and coffee available.
Parking was a little difficult but where is parking easy in Los Angeles.

WARNING...I brought my car to Alpine to be diagnosed and serviced on 6/19-20) and on 6/22/20 I was told my car was ready...I picked it up and the following day my Service Engine Light came back on along with the Low OIL Pressure light so I took my car back on the following day. They kept the car the whole day and told me I have another problem (RED FLAG) ...I was very upset that they didn't tell me about this problem when I bought the car in the first time..so the owner assured me this would correct the oil light and service engine light...three days later the problem still exists....the

These guys are the absolute best. I have had two jobs done over the last two years and on both occasions, they did outstanding work and they did it for well below what other shops would charge.
They replaced a rear passenger window that failed, and did it for a couple hundred below the nearest estimate, and it's been over a year and the electric window works perfectly.
Then I brought my 328i in to have both the water pump replaced, as well as the valve cover gasket, and they once again did flawless work at a rate way below all competing shops. These guys are the right place to get work done

I was skeptical. Especially being a woman looking for an independent I could trust.
They went over and above on the work they did and didn't take advantage of me and my lack of knowledge in cars.
They worked overtime to finish my car early and it was a big job, and charged me a fraction of what the dealer quoted me on my BMW. I won't go anywhere else-ever.

I live three hours away, and Steve at Alpine has earned my business for life.
I took my 2012 X5 to my local dealership because it was making a soft "putting" sound. They called within an hour and told me I needed a complete engine replacement that would cost $24,000. I was shocked. They "generously" offered me $1,500 to trade in my now "worthless" car.
I started making calls, literally all over the country, to find someone who could replace the engine for, at the very least, less than the $13,000 blue-book value of the car. I was unsuccessful

UPDATED 3/5/2019:
The oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket that they fixed are now leaking again (15 months later) and I am having to pay someone $840 to fix it. I was told that they didn't use the correct sealant and that they did not do a good job.
This is not to mention that when they worked on my car last, they didn't reset the computer and I ended up stranded in a parking garage when my engine stalled.
I absolutely would not recommend this place.

I've gotten plenty of repairs and maintenance done here for my 2007 BMW 328i (e93)
Some notable mentions are to follow -
My car got broken into and my glove compartment, passenger window and cupholder were broken. I didn't go through insurance to get the repairs, but went here instead. They replaced it with the used parts they've had for much MUCH less than what I had expected. On top of that, I bought a hydraulic hood lift since one of mine was broken and they replaced it very quickly.
One ignition coil went out, and got it replaced at a shop near me so it wouldn't stop knocking

This place is great! I used to come here years ago when I had my last BMW and now these guys are even better than ever. I'd been looking all over town for days for a motor for my convertible top when I remembered "ALPINE"!
I gave them a call, they had the part, gave me a great deal and offered to install it for less then anybody that I could find. Life Saver.

All this shop does is rip you off and doesn't even fix your car. I took my BMW 3 series in for a repair and was told it would be ready quick, guess what it didn't, it took 2 weeks. Every time I would call and ask to speak with Steve to see what's happening they said he will call me back because he's with a customer right now but never would end up calling me.
I get my car back and literally 3 days later I get the same problem again. I give them a call and they say bring it back and we'll check on it. I get a call couple days later saying it's a different problem
