This is the best apartment i have ever lived. I like both apartment and the prompt service they offer (they will either send text or call and confirm that our maintenance request is completed or not for every request ..this is simply best)..We lived around 15 months and were more than happy and i would strongly recommend this community to any one want to live in Bakersfield.
All the shopping complexes also walkable is great added advantage.

I highly recommend living at Watermark Apartments. I moved into Watermark Apts in Dec 2019. It’s been 11 months, and in that time I have enjoyed my apartment and am very pleased on how quiet, well maintained and safe our gated community is and feels. Diana and Britney in the office are wonderful, very attentive and responds to all our needs quickly and professionally.
It’s also great that Watermark is conveniently located within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bus lines.

My husband and I have lived here for a few months now and are very happy here! It's extremely quiet at all hours, everyone we have met who lives here has been very friendly and everything is working well in the apartment. The apartment managers, Diana and Britney, are very friendly and helpful, and we love that we can text them if we need anything! We recently texted for an air filter, and we received one promptly. We also love that we can pay rent online. You also can't beat the location! There are so many restaurants and stores close by. I love that I can quickly zip across the street

I recently move out of Watermark (for job relocation) after living there for a year. We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed living here! The staff was always so helpful and really seemed to care about their residents. We have no complaints and hope everyone else has as great of an experience as we did.

I have stayed in watermark apartments for more then 3 years. Its location is really nice all restaurants, walmart, home depot all are walking distance.
Its safe and gated community. This community is newly build so everything is upgraded for free. Including new ac, fridge, stove etc.
In 3+ year i never had any problem, also they fix most issues in hours.
Their application process is easy also staff is very cooperative when things needed.
I would surely recommend watermark apartment to all.

My whole experience with this apartment have been great so far we been here for 3-4 months.
Application process was fast and approval was fast. The ladies in the office are pretty nice however I think they can do better on welcoming guess my first time walking in the office was not very welcoming.
We had a problem with ants, and a refrigerator and they took care immediately and I was surprise they show up the same day.
The community is always clean.

I wish we all could have one assigned parking it can get tough finding parking after 9 pm if you live in the middle of the community

I absolutely love these apartments! My husband I have lived at these apartments for a while and we actually love coming home. The gate access allows us to feel secure, the daily security patrol is very nice and reliable. The maintenance and girls in the front have been so helpful whenever we have questions about anything. Diana and Brittney are always so nice and approachable about literally anything. Obviously every apartment complex has its flaws but the only thing I wish I could change was the parking. Lived here for almost 5 years and the walls and ceiling are thin the some material used in the apartment is cheap but the granite and cabinets are nice. The parking is ridiculous if you live in the middle of the complex because they decided to put these garages in that you have to pay extra for and that take the majority of the complexes parking in certain areas. Other than that the manager and staff are really nice and make an effort to help you with anything.

They're some unprofessional people who are profiting of the $20 from every applicant they scam and the fact that the management (Royal T) knows about this and approving this action is funny cause that's showing us what kind of people works for these facilities SCAMMERS

These apartments are awful. Watermark apartments are supposed to be cable ready but the wiring in the building is damaged and they refuse to fix it trying to say it is not their responsibility. I pay $1230 for rent and another $70 for internet that cuts out all the time and makes it impossible for my son to do his homework and me to do my work. Also the painting in the apartment is all cracked and nasty looking and if you try to wipe a small mark off the wall the paint just comes off, their landscaping is full of weeds and dying plants, the pool area has broken worn out chairs, and trash is left

I am just giving 1 star because I can't give below 0. What a bad customer service and client attention attitude. Specifically this goes to the condo representative Britney, what a bi.... "bit" of person If can say something different. Hey girl, if you aren't capable to handle public better do other job. Update: upon moving out after 3 years, I was appalled at how much the leasing office nickled and dimed me out of my security deposit. I was the perfect tenant and left the unit almost as spotless as when I moved in. However, I was charged for the most ridiculous things upon move out- items that are considered normal wear and tear elsewhere. Items like lightbulbs and batteries (along with labor charges). When questioned, the office girl's (Diana) answer was literally that because they are a newer complex, they need to offset their expenses to the tenants. Just ridiculous. Rent elsewhere. This

It's quiet clean and spacious gated community.
There is a FULL size washer dryer in the unit!
and a small gym and pool onsite.
Management Diana and Melissa are nice and take care of any request in a timely manner.
Bathroom, bedroom and livingroom are Huge
Small kitchen
Perfect for a college student as CSUB is 5 min away.
Also shopping and food i literally across the street. Farmer Boys does a GOOD burger if you get hungry you can walk from the apartments.
The only cons is the train horn now and then
and no ceiling fans

Terrible service. You pay roughly 1100 a month. But if your AC goes out while you're out of town. You receive no immediate service, or temporary accommodation while fixed seems ridiculous to me. Pros nice area and amenities, but doesn't make up for service in slightest way. Could be a one time thing but either way I would think at these premium rates I would be able to sleep in a room below 90 degrees

I lived here at Watermark and loved it! I want to go back. It is really nice because you feel safe in the gated community and it is close to lots of shopping. I always walked across the street to WalMart to get my groceries. The staff is the nicest! It really has everything you could need in an apartments home, we moved here because we weren't ready to buy a house but wanted the closest thing and this is it. Don't hesitate, rent here!

I have been living at Watermark apartments for the past few months and I'm extremely happy with my decision. Before moving, I looked at many different apartments complexes but nothing compared to Watermark.
The apartments are very spacious and clean. They interior and appliances are up to date. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer, which is amazing. It's a friendly and quite community and is conveniently located next to many amenities.

I have lived in two different complex in the SW Bakersfield area with Watermark being my favorite.
I work from home, so being in a place I enjoy is a big concern. My two bedroom apartment is spacious, modern, and well maintained. The bathrooms are huge, and the kitchen area with it's long breakfast bar is awesome! Also what is cool is having your own FULLSIZE washer and dryer units.
When shopping for my new apartment, I started online and booked a meeting with the staff. Rebecca showed me the demo unit and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. The move in process

I have been living here for about 6 months it is a very nice and quiet community. The apartments are very spacious, and the location is awesome close to everything!! The managers Melissa and Rebecca are super nice and always there when you need them very professional and they care about their residence I highly recommend it.

Great experience lived here for over 2 years. Staff is awesome I recommend this location for any single families or first time renters. Yes rent is high but well worth it. Security 24/7 pool is awesome!! I had a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath !!! Great fitness center! Parking works great! Any concerns I had were addressed in a timely manner, overall it's been a great 2year experience!

It's right next to the train and it's SUPER LOUD! The train comes even late at night around 2, 3, 4 A.M. and everytime the train passes it sounds its horn a few times so the noise woke us up in the middle of the night!! Many many times during the week!!!
Also, lack of parking spots.

I've lived at Watermark for 8 months; and as someone who has lived in 3 states in 4 years, I can honestly say this has been the best experience of apartment living I've come across.
I'm always expecting the worst for every "moving" or "rental" event, because of previous experiences; but from day one, the management team (especially Melissa) has gone out of their way to make sure my needs as a resident are met. The maintenance team is skilled and efficient and the facilities are always spotless and very well kept.
