Over 10 years ago, Dr. Christopher Ha decided to open Roseville Dermatology. After working at Kaiser for 6 years, he saw the need for a full service, patients-first dermatology practice. He opened the original office on Pleasant Grove Blvd, starting with 5 exam rooms and 2 staff. The practice grew quickly over the past decade.
Complete a New Patient Registration Packet. If you are scheduled for a skin cancer check or laser treatment, do not wear make-up to your appointment or be prepared to remove your make-up. We do not accept MediCal, HMOs such as Sutter Independent Physician, Western Health Advantage and Hills Physicians.
Dr. Christopher Ha is a Board Certified Dermatologist and founded Roseville Dermatology in 2006 with the goal of creating a patient-centered dermatology practice that would provide both quality of care and the highest level of customer service. Dr. Ha was born in Vietnam and moved to the United States when he was 7 years old.
Prescription refill requests require your dermatologist to review the request before any prescription can be authorized. Prescriptions will not be refilled if you have not been seen by one of our providers in over a year. Check the number of refills first since many prescriptions still have refills of which you are unaware.
Our Board-Certified Dermatologist Dr. Ha and his physician assistants have the medical training and experience to diagnose and treat all skin conditions related to the skin, hair, and nails. From simple rashes to serious melanomas, your skin concerns will be addressed with the highest level of training, using the most up-to-date treatment available.

If you're looking for a non-invasive way to improve your skin, then Ashley at Roseville Dermatology is your answer! I saw noticeable improvements after my first treatment and have been a regular client since.
My skin can be temperamental, but I've never had anything but amazing results with the Diamond Glow. Ashley takes the time to understand your skincare needs, and does a great job explaining everything. It's clear that she really cares about her clients.

Me and my husband have been going here for years ..And l called today for appointment to have a few things removed from my face which is cosmetic .Also was going to make appointment for my husband too but didnt get that far .The secretary tells me because l havent been seen in a while they want to charge me 190.00 as a new patient .Which l have already paid the first time being seen . Im not a patient now ? even though my husband and l have been going there for years l go there all the time to purchase things and all of a sudden lm not a patient unless l have been seen ?? This is just so wrong

Roseville dermatology has been the best dermatology place I've ever been in I worked in dermatology for 11 years and Carly loves helping patients she is amazingly sweet helps you with the best skin care you can have for your skin this little place is a gem I can't imagine that place without Carly she is the reason why I go there she makes dermatology one of the best

The level of care I have received at Roseville Dermatology has consistently exceeded my expectations. VERIFY UOUR INSURANCE BEFOEE YOU GO. I Waited two months and drove over an hour for my appointment only to show up and be told they don't take my insurance as I'm filling out their paperwork. Apparently someone is supposed to ask for a photo of your insurance card, but never did. This was supposed to be the one bit of goods news I had in a while and I was excited to start my healthy skin journey, but apparently being thorough wasn't that important to them. Time to start all over.

My appointment felt very rushed. I'm a little late writing this as my appointment was about a month ago. I had a handful of questions regarding my skin. Now mind you, my doctor was VERY friendly along with the rest of the staff. By no means was I treated poorly or felt uncomfortable. I asked for some recommendations on oil free sunscreen and before I could even open my mouth to ask a few other rather important questions, the doctor grabbed his things and said his goodbyes on the way out. Since my appointment I'm struggling with my skin even worse than before I went in. If I had more time

After several visits, I've decided that this office is focused on cosmetic procedures, not medical concerns. Even though the PA David is very nice, and accommodating,my treatments for sun damage and prevention of aging spots, will be in a medical office.
The examination is the equivalent of speed dating. A fast, medical inspection/treatment is abrupt at best. On my last visit, a young, officious, rough assistant was unacceptable at best. Shannon Sgro has been helping me with my skin for almost seven years now. Prior to finding Roseville derm and Shannon, I had visited several different dermatologist offices all around the sacramento area. None compare to the experience I have had here at this office.
I suffer with problem hormonal acne and deep cystic acne. Some cysts so big that I can't even sleep at night because of the pain. Whenever I need some extra help with my problem areas I can always count on Shannon and the friendly staff to accommodate me and try to get me in as soon as possible despite how busy Shannon is. She

Just had my 2nd procedure done today. Face is currently swollen as expected from procedure so will post pictures of results from procedure 2 in about 4-5 days when swelling dissipates. Will also post additional pictures of how the results look 4 weeks after this 2nd procedure.
FYI, Procedure 1 and 2 took about 30-40 minutes but have to come an hour earlier so they could draw my blood for the PRP portion of the procedure.
Side note: Slight typo in original review. It was Julie (not Jillian) who has assisted Shannon through all my procedures and follow ups, she is awesome!!

So this review is just for making an appointment. I'll update my review after I actually go in. So I called in early December to try to make an appointment for my hair - it took over 3 hours to get through - every time i called, the phone would just continue to ring and no one would answer. Strange, but I finally gave up and called later in the day and waited on hold for quite some time before I was helped.
That being said - the earliest appointment with the dermatologist was like not until March - that's 4 months out! it's a dermatologist - seriously? Well then I said what my issue
