I lived in two different properties of Kent Housing in the 6 years I was in St. Cloud while attending St. Cloud State. My apartment was walking distance to campus and I had no issues getting to campus. They have been exceptionally professional and welcoming since day 1. Never had any issues with the management. Wonderful living experience! The landlord and everyone that worked in the office were so kind. The apartment was spacious and insanely affordable. While things are slightly outdated, nothing is run down and it's well worth the low price. If there is an issue, you can contact maintenance and they will fix the issue that day or the day after. 10/10 would recommend to any college student in the area.

Our last son will graduate from SCSU, this spring. He has lived in one of your single family homes, for the last 2 years. Whenever there is a problem with the house, Rob is there to help them.
I have had 2 other sons graduate from SCSU, previously, and live is housing with landlords (not Kent Housing) that were unresponsive and invisible, whenever there were issues with their house. Really a big difference in landlords/customer service. Truly, good people at Kent Housing.
I would recommend Kent Housing to anyone needing a good place to live, while attending SCSU.

Great experience with Kent Housing! Landlords are very nice, flexible, and strict when needed in certain situations. I have experienced many issues with illegal activity and noise. They resolve these issues relatively quickly if given a realistic time of day. Very approachable and appreciate feedback on the apartments or neighbors so they can try and make your experience as best as possible. I recommend going through Kent Housing for getting a reasonably priced apartment that is very close to campus!

I rented an apartment from them during 2017-2018 and absolutely had no complaints! Honestly they kept up with vacuuming the hallways, cleaning the leaves outside, letting residents know ahead of time when they’ll be plowing the parking lot, and giving out notices or messages ahead of time. I rented through mpm the next year and boy it sure made me realize how great I had it with Kent Housing. So I decided to rent with them again and this year they have an online renter portal to request maintenance and pay your rent which is really convenient. Very cheap apartments for college students. Unfortunately they are ran by horrible landlords, I had been in a very serious car crash and they were very unprofessional and rude about the whole situation. They wouldn’t allow anyone but myself into the apartment or to get my mail even when I specifically gave them a name of the family member or friend that was to do so. (Not to mention I lived on the top floor and there is no elevator) I have a broken back, broken collarbone, collapsed and bruised lungs and a torn spleen, I was immobile for months. I have lived under Kent Housing for 2 years at separate locations and my overall experience was great. The owners are great, and flexible. The apartments get cleaned often so you usually won't find any garbage in the halls or anything. In my experience, the residents are pretty tame, and you won't have a problem with noise if you need to be up late cramming for an exam. Wash and dry is $1.25 per cycle so It's a little spendy in that regard considering the machines don't work all that well. The parking lot has adequate lighting, and I feel safe coming home late at night from working at the bar.
