Radon is a carcinogenic gas that is hazardous to inhale. Build-up of radon in homes is a health concern and many lung cancer cases are attributed to radon exposure each year. About 12% of lung cancers and more than 20,000 Americans die of radon-related lung cancer each year. The Surgeon General of the United States has issued a Health Advisory warning Americans about the health risk from exposure to radon in indoor air.
Provided incredibly detailed inspection report, walked me through the house and pointed out every potential area of concerns. Jon was conscientious, thorough and very informed. His customer service was top-notch and he provided the completed report very quickly. He has my highest recommendation. This dude was super thorough, took his time, and cared about the house he was working on/in.

Jon did a phenomenal job inspecting my home. Spent the time to look at every corner and pointed out things I did not even notice/think of and has helped put our mind as ease for our home purchase. I would highly recommend Jon as your home inspector! He was extremely thorough and even gave me general home tips, which I greatly appreciated as a first time home buyer. His report was detailed and well-organized. Due to time constraints, I needed my home inspection done within a week from when I called him, and he was able to fit me in no problem!

The home inspection report I received from Jon was both highly detailed and safety oriented. Given Covid restrictions, Jon performed the inspection alone, but was happy to go over the report with me and answer any questions I had. In addition to the thoroughness and quality of his report, Jon was friendly and an absolute delight to work with. If I ever need another home inspection, I would hire Jon again in a heartbeat.

I recently worked with Jon for my new home inspection. Jon is very nice and he was very patient to walk through with me one area to another. He explained important things to me about what to pay attention in the future and what I should do for maintain in the future. He was very careful when we were at electrical parts. Jon also arranged me the inspection date very quickly before the Christmas and New year break. The price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend Jon to other people in Madison area.

Jon was exceptional. Very detail oriented and helpful. He is able explain what is wrong and why it should be fixed in a manner that is easy to understand. I will recommend Jon to everyone. I wouldn't necessarily use the one your realtor recommends as they have a financial interest in the closing and the inspection may "get in the way". A house is a big investment and you need a truly independent party so call Jon.

We've used Jon twice and we'll use him any other time we buy a house. We've seen his reports side by side other inspectors'...there is no comparison. He is exceptionally thorough and takes the time to not only find issues but also educate the buyer on all aspects of their home.

We really enjoyed our experience with Jon. He had incredible attention to detail, and took the time to explain not only what he found, but how to fix it, who to contact, and how serious of a problem it could be. I appreciated that he was willing to work around our schedule and did such a thorough job on the inspection. We got our inspection report very promptly and it was complete and easy to access. I feel so much more confident buying the home after having worked with Jon, and with the materials he provided about areas to focus on after purchase. Additionally, he was fun and pleasant to work

Jon took time to explain what he was finding as I walked with him around the condo. He was on time, quick to complete his home inspection report, thorough, informative and a pleasure to work with. I asked a lot of questions and Jon was happy to answer them and provide me with more information. I recommend Jon to all of you on the interwebs. If you are in the process of purchasing your first home, I politely insist that you consider hiring him.
