Services
Starting in 1952, Hellertown Crossroads Hotel was owned and operated by the Matey family. From the start, the family created home-cooked, classic American food for the menu, soon building a reputation for amazing tastes. In 2016, the restaurant was closed for a brief time as the owners were retiring.
Our steaks and cheesesteaks are prepared with freshly cooked chip steak and include onions, our own sauce, and pickles. A large salad with salami, ham, pepperoni, provolone cheese, mozzarella cheese, olives, tomatoes, onions, pepperoncini, with your choice of dressing. Hellertown Crossroads Hotel proudly offers Pepsi Products, including various sodas, iced teas and bottled water.

I have enjoyed Hellertown Crossroads Pizza for over 65 years! I need to drive down to the Lehigh Valley several times a year just to satisfy my urge to urge to enjoy one of their fabulous cheesesteaks. When we were kids, my dad would stop at the Crossroads and bring pizza home with him when he worked 3rd shift...we loved to stay up past midnight to enjoy that pizza with everyone!

We took the nice little ride from Doylestown to Hellertown Crossroads Hotel to check out this highly rated pizza spot.
It was so good. Hands down probably the best bar pie we’ve ever had! This is on our list of top favorite pizza joints now! Our go to pizza joints are Angelos in Philly, Papa's Tomato Pies in Robbinsville NJ, Pizza Shackamaxon in Philly…. This place was awesome.
Got to get it “chedge” style (cheese to the edge), well done. So good, but the pepperoni stole the show. They don’t use your normal food service pepperoni, they use a pepperoni from a butcher down the street

Visiting from out of town and was looking for a place that was close. I went here and completely regret it. I should have known it was going to be a weird experience when the young lady picked up the phone. She was super rude about putting me on hold, didn't even ask just said hold, then didn't even put me on hold and just put the phone down. She then comes back on the phone and asks what I would like. I tell her I'm from out of town and ask her what does she recommend? I am then told to look at the menu and I make my selection quite quickly. Food was a 6/10 but that customer service

I'm Disabled and I order lots of times during the week,I get my grilled cheese with sautéed onions and green peppers, or the grilled cheese with bacon sautéed onions and green peppers sandwiches, onion rings, cheese burgers, and pizza..was always very tasty. Always delivered on time, and the sandwiches are packaged very neatly.

My family has eaten here for 40 years we usually love their food. I ordered pizza that was burnt and the sauce was the worst sauce I have ever eaten in my life. I only ate one piece and choked it down. Then we told the waiter how nasty it was and asked her to take it off the bill she said yes and walked away. She took the pizza back to the kitchen. Then her and the chef walked back out and said it wasn’t burnt he picked up the black crust and said that’s the way they were taught to cook it. They refused to take it off the bill. Even after they took it back to the kitchen and brought it back

Ive been going to this restaurant since I was kid, and never had a argument the the employees. Order the same sandwiches for years, and they argued with me about the sauce. Going there for years and the sandwich my wife gets the same one almost every day and it never came with sauce. It's a California chz steak which doesn't come with sauce, and little girl argues with me about the sauce i told her it never came with sauce crossroads has the same food that they had since I have been going there.

I used to love this place, they had the best California cheese steaks ever. I don't know what happen. But it was total disappointment, my family all got the Cali cheese steaks and all said the same, what happened? Why does it taste so different? Is it the cheese? The mayo. None of us finished are food. How sad is that. We also got onion rings they were burnt and greasy. Good money down the drain

I decided I wouldn't leave any negative reviews for anybody because of Covid last thing I wanna do is make things more difficult for businesses that are struggling to do the best they can under difficult times. However what happen tonight at this establishment absolutely bags to be put out there for everybody to hear. I'm 50 years old and this is one of the top three worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. This was a bad night for the crossroads hotel...
The steak sandwiches and pizza really turned for the worse. Steak was falling apart to were you couldn't even eat it or enjoy it.
Pizza nearly no sauce very dry.
Was one of my favorite spots....
Not anymore l.. server didn't give me correct change back But I didn't say anything.
Roofs caving in on the inside in dining room.

I live in NJ and was visiting a friend yesterday 10/21/20. Decided to have lunch at Crossroads. I hate when the service stinks just as much as the food did. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, medium and well done fries. Burger came out BURNT and no cheese and the fries never came out as well. Waitress did not bring out ketchup and we needed napkins. I walk inside and she is on her cell, texting. I asked her for napkins and asked about my fries. She went into the kitchen and again...no ketchup. Another waitress handed me the ketchup and eventually, our waitress brought out my fries while mumbling

We stopped in for a slice. They don't sell 1 slice, but two. After receiving them, we understood why. They were incredibly small...baby slices. They should be embarrassed to sell such small slices. I can say the crust was crispy, but the cheese was either old or poorly prepared. This was some of the worse pizza we've ever had.

Been going there for years, even after they sold to the owner of the wagon wheel. It seemed to be alright after the sell. Then every time I thought it was getting worse. My wife said it was just me.
We just ordered and picked up our steak sandwiches. It was the worst cheesesteak I have ever had from them. Hardly any meat, the cheese is as barely on top of the sandwich.
I guess it will no longer be my favorite cheesesteak. I always told everybody at work how fabulous it was. The words "it was" is definitely what it is. Never will be the same.

Wait to get seated. Waitress had an attitude then wait for food ( which wasn't a very good cheese steak sandwich ) and then wait for check to leave. Why? Who knows the place certainly wasn't filled. There were tables empty and I pity the family behind us they were just getting seated when we were leaving. Two waitresses doing their very best to ignore the customers. Past this one on by.
