Services
First was the removal of the 50-year-old asphalt shingle siding. While it was well past its prime it did the job of protecting the hemlock clapboard siding underneath. We decided to save and use as much of the vintage clapboards as possible. Regraded landscaping around hotel, installed stone retaining walls, restored and painted old "feed shed.".
You can now order Digital Gift Cards online! They are available in any amount between $10 and $500. They are good for food, drink or merchandise. Just like the Physical Gift Card, you can order as many as you like and have them sent to your own email address, someone's else email address, or cellphone.

Disappointed in their crab Mac and cheese. There was way too much breading and old bay seasoning. Couldn’t even taste the crab and cheese. The asparagus pieces wasn’t really necessary either. I definitely think the Mac would be a lot better if the seasoning and breading was toned down. Will be back and hopefully will like other selections.

First time visiting here. Hostess was super friendly. We sat at the bar. Bartender didn't look happy, didn't smile, not very friendly. Food was amazing! Potato and steak skillet was delicious! Steak was so tender, sauce is delicious! Also had homemade Onion dip and homemade chips. Wow! Will definitely be back.

Everything was delicious. We were a party of 6. None of us had a single negative thing to say about the food, ambiance, drinks or waitress, who by the way was attentive, but not to the point of being annoying. She was friendly and polite. A true asset to the restaurant. I had scallops they were so good. The baked potato was just right. Some of us had burgers or sandwiches with fries. This is definitely a place to go back to.

I have had many good dinners at Point Phillips over the years but my meal and service last Friday was AWFUL.
Lorraine was our waitress and she couldn't smile if someone paid her. I asked for water she brought 1 glass (there were 4 of us) so
We asked for more water and she was not happy about it. I ordered a beef tip with potatoes served in a cast iron pan. The meat was barely able to be cut with a sharp knife and it was swimming in grease.
The best part of the evening was knowing we were leaving and not ever coming back.

Wow! I am surprised i didn't find this gem sooner as I am only right down the road!!
Went last evening with some friends and were promptly seated outside by the smoke house. Drinks were all lovely as was the food and atmosphere!!!!!

First time here and can't wait to come back to try more of the menu as the food was excellent! Some of the best smokehouse BBQ I've ever had in the country and enjoyed all the food items we had. Great atmosphere and space to enjoy a meal together. Recommend getting a reservation as restaurant was packed and had people fill the bar. I can't wait to come back sooner than later. Great job by all working this restaurant and pleasing us customers!

My mom and I went for dinner for our first time last week. The only complaint we had was how long the wait was and that the waiting area wasn't heated so we were cold. The staff is extremely friendly and our waitress was amazing. I got the ribs and they were fantastic, my mom got a thanksgiving sandwich special and she loved it. The French onion soup was absolutely my favorite. The drinks were also great. We will definitely return.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. Very slow service and there was hardly anyone there when we got there. It shouldn't have taken 45 minutes for our food. Ridiculous!! My pork and ribs were dry also. We told our waitress we had an appt to get to and it still took another 10 minutes. She did not comp any of our order. We had to eat fast. Hopefully if we ever go back they will have their act together.

For dinner, I got the sampler with: baby back ribs, cheese andouille, the braut, baked beans, and pierogies. My husband got the sampler as well with: chicken, pulled pork, brisket, warm potato salad, and Mac n cheese. Both of our meals were SO good! If you're looking to order off of the smokehouse menu, I highly recommend the sampler so you can try a few different things!

Delicious local spot. My husband and I were in the Lehigh Valley over the weekend and saw this place (via Yelp) and decided to check it out. A word of advice, make a reservation: we arrived at 6:45 on a Saturday and the next available table wasn't until 8:30. But because it looked so packed and we did not have other options readily in our heads we decided to come back at 8:30 and see what all the hype was about. We trie the Point Phillips Hotel based on recommendations of friends. The atmosphere is very nice, rustic Americana. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This would not be a place to have conversations requiring a reasonable quiet venue because noise levels are high, but not offensive. We called ahead and were seated in about 15 minutes after arrival.

Ate here with family Friday night. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the 2 choice smoked meat with two sides. I asked for the brisket and St. Louis ribs. For side I ordered French fries and asparagus. The food was ok. I'm a big fan of smoked food and have my own. If your a smoked meat fan you know that a good way to see if it's good is wether or not BBQ sauce needs to be added.

While visiting friends in PA a few weeks ago we stopped by Point Phillips. The first night we decided to stop in without reservations - they were booked until 8pm! Too hungry for a 2.5 hour wait we reluctantly moved on to another restaurant. Point Phillips had an opening the next evening, which we gladly accepted.
