Winn, Matt and Casen treated me with kindness, courtesy and, very importantly, gave me a professional breakdown of what needed to be done and the labor and parts costs. On my current income, this is very important to get needed maintenance done as I can afford it.
When my car kept failing, and battery kept draining, they found out what was happening. Matt responded to my despair about possibly losing this car with a positive attitude and outlook. That lifted my spirits so I could get back to work. I am amazed the team tracked down a loose connection and short that was parasitic of electricity

I was super satisfied with their timely manner. I dropped my car off to get my AC fixed because the blower motor needed to be replaced and they had my car ready the next day. The price was kind of high in my opinion but I’d rather pay it and know the job was done correct and I can say they did a great job because my AC is working better than before!

Great experience with Arbor Auto Works today; I needed an oil change and was looking for a shop in the neighborhood and found them on Google. I scheduled my appointment online, and when I showed up they were ready to go. I was told it would be approximately and hour, and service was complete before that. The price was very fair. I'm impressed, they've made themselves a new customer. Thanks!

I would not recommend Arbor Auto Works. I brought my Volkswagen Jetta in with an oil leak. After paying $200+ more than I was initially quoted, the oil leak continued. I brought it back to the shop, and they claimed that after reinspecting it, they couldn't identify any additional leaks. A couple weeks later, the starter in my car went out. I took it to a different shop and they immediately identified the secondary oil leak as being caused by the vacuum pump (which I had both suggested to Arbor Auto Works as a possible source of the leak, and is very common in Volkswagens). I Have Been Using Arbor Auto Works As My Mechanic For About 5 Years Now. I Wouldn't Take My Car Anywhere Else. Winn, Mat, And Kasen Are Always There For Me! Whether It Is Me Calling To Ask A Question...They Usually Tell Me To Drop By At My Convenience So They Can Check It Out For Me. They Even Do The Simple Things Like Filling My Tires With Air When I Am Being Lazy. My Daughter Now Uses ONLY Arbor Auto Works After Her Puppy Ate The Wires Under Her Driver's Seat. She Took Her Brand New Car To The Dealership To See What It Would Take To Fix The Wires. The Dealer Told Her That They Would

They always stand behind their work. Matt is always very friendly, attentive and explains everything in great detail. I have found my go to mechanic moving forward. I can't recommend them enough.

Arbor Auto Works saved the day when my car's sunroof got stuck open during a rainy spell. When I called and explained the issue, they told me to come right in and they'd see what they could do. The technician, Goose, worked hard to figure out the issue, a problem with the switch, and he was able to fix it. In the end, they charged me a reasonable amount, just an hour of labor, even though he spent more time than that if you include the time he spent trying to diagnose the problem. I really appreciated that they took me in on a moment's notice, worked hard to figure out the problem

So, one star because I was given a refund but I will never take my vehicle here again.
I had a check engine light on and knew that it was most likely the gas cap - sometimes it doesn't seal tight and I've had this issue in the past. But just to be safe, we took it in. We asked for an oil change and to have the truck looked over since it had over 100,000 miles on it - figured it was due for some extra maintenance.
Ok, short story - over $1200 estimate for items!! Brakes, Spark plugs, Belt, Transmission oil and yes, the actual oil needing to be changed. They also charged $90 to tell me

I see there are lots of mixed reviews about this place but I just had a nice experience with them and wanted to share. My car got stuck at my work, across the street from these guys. The key or ignition switch is messed up. So i walked over and the owner's son drove me over to check it out. There was a little bit of confusion about having the techs come out to diagnose after they said they could so I was just going to leave, but the owner came out himself instead. He was very kind and was going to write out an estimate for me for what he thinks the problem may be. I was not charged for this

They are awesome!!! Amazing customer service! I got in and out for my state inspection so quickly and the owner went above and beyond to help me with an issue I'd been having trying to get my out-of-state car registered in Texas. I mentioned what a difficult time I was having working with the DMV. Not only did he tell me exactly what I needed to complete the process, he kindly printed out my insurance card for me and suggested I go to an Auto title place just 5 minutes up the road. We took our Saturn in seeing as it was starting but not staying running. My boyfriend had been trying to fix it but was certain the issue was somewhere unreachable without a lift.
We dropped it off around 9 or 10 am Monday, talked to the girl at the front about what we thought the issue was and waited for their call back....and waited and waited. Tuesday afternoon, 4pm rolls around and we finally hear back.
The ignition coil modual is out and it's going

I would like to submit a complaint for this shop. I had an old Camry (03) with an exhaust leak. This place is right around the corner from my house and as I am new to Austin, i figured i would try to at least get a quote.
Well, quotes here cost 55.00 USD. Meaning, even if i chose not to do the service, they charge for assessment. Further, the woman running the computer said she was 'unsure' if mechanic would waive that fee even if i agreed to the stated labor per their assessment.
Onto their assessment-
They quoted me at 717usd (480 for flex pipe, 238 for labor) for replacing my flex
