I've lived in several apartment complexes over the years but my experience at Riverstone was by far the worst! The issues started before I even moved in. I was excited, my lease was signed, deliveries were scheduled and preparations were made ahead of time - 2 days before I was scheduled to move in I contacted them with a few questions and was then told that they had to move my move-in date due to a delinquent tenant. Obviously, a tenant refusing to vacate is not their fault and I'm an understanding person and always for the people - so being that we were in a pandemic and all that was going on

This morning I went out to water the plants on my deck, to see the freshly cut lawn rolling down to the woodlands that run the length of the property. It was a spring day.
The public areas are always well cared for.
The maintenance staff has always been very responsive.
Occasionally some tenants are thoughtless and disrespectful of the property and their neighbors. A complaint to management is usually thoughtfully received and responded to.
I am very pleased with this apartment living experience.
The location is great, Painters Mill Road can be very busy, but access has been safe.

I lived at Riverstone from 2017-2019. Aside from a minor hiccup with a faulty air conditioner in my unit, and the high yearly rental increases, I loved living here. My one bedroom apartment was very spacious with updated appliances. I also lucked out with a very quiet hallway and respectful neighbors.

Lived here for over a year, there were major incidences that resulted in this rating. They said anything to get us to sign a lease once signed the charm disappeared. For instance, a refrigerated gift was sent to us and taken by the leasing office without ever being notified and the package went bad. It was not the leasing office's responsibility per them although they took the package. It is not a gated community, the gates seem to be broken more than functioning, and anyone can just drive through with someone coming or going. When I first moved in things were okay for a few weeks. However, their version of "move in ready" was an apartment with no working alarm system, paint all over the carpet, and other various green and blue stains on the carpets.
If you are looking for a gated community, don't let the gates of this complex fool you - they don't work 97% of the time.… They blame this on others following on the heels of the car in front of them but gates have censors that don't allow for the gate to close so that shouldn't be an issue.
