Our authentic long-term addiction treatment program at Burning Tree facilities centers on the individual client and helping him or her achieve permanent sobriety. In addition to our insistence on the 12-Step programs which promote personal responsibility, we address the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of our clients.
A complete approach such as this ensures that all contributing factors are understood and addressed. But perhaps most important is the fact that our long term inpatient substance abuse treatment center has no set discharge time. Our clients are encouraged to stay in treatment until they are ready to be integrated back into the community.

Services
On a daily basis are the watchwords at Burning Tree. The relapsing alcoholic or addict is shown a manner of living that demands rigorous honesty as demonstrated through the client's actions in all areas of their lives. Our clients come to us "asleep dreaming they are awake, " and it is our intent and practice to take them through a process of waking up to the reality of how they have been living their lives.
It has no regard for your occupation, age, income, gender or level of education. It doesn't care if you live in the country, city or somewhere in-between. And once it takes hold, addiction undermines your sense of self and destroys all illusion of control or moderation. Things that were once important fall the wayside and you become occupied with chasing a high that puts your life, health and well-being at risk.
Provides relapse prevention programs specializing in long - term residential alcohol treatment and long term residential drug treatment for adults with a relapse history. We serve adults who have been to other treatment centers and 12-step programs and have relapsed. Relapse-prevention plan is our primary role.
Some may be curious and experimenting with different substances, while others are looking to lessen the impact of trauma and other painful life experiences. Drugs and alcohol may seem like an enjoyable escape or provide temporary relief at first, but over time the body begins to rely on them to feel normal and it becomes difficult to function without them.
From the outside looking in, addiction can seem like a black-and-white issue. An observer sees an individual battling a disease, and assumes that the clear solution is treatment. After all, they may reason, you would get the care you needed if you had a physical illness - why not do the same for a substance use disorder?

My brother was here for five days & it cost us $25,000... This spot is unconscionable; looking at the reviews, $25,000 may be nothing if my brother's life was saved by avoiding the manipulation and isolation. To anyone reading this needing support: one thing that helps my brother with sobriety is writing things he loves about himself every day. Addiction distances the soul from self-love and reminding the soul how beautiful and amazing it is / you are is a great way to connect with your core.

Burning Tree is a unique program that offers five star treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to send a family member there. The staff is professional and ethical and it starts from the top down. Jay Staples & Eric Button are as committed and Invloved as anyone I’ve seen from first point of contact through the duration of treatment (and beyond). I know the people we send are in good hands and will be given every opportunity to not just get sober, but get well.

I went through one of the Burning Tree Programs back in 2010. I had already been through several treatment programs and was feeling pretty hopeless. The facility I attended for Burning Tree Programs was unlike any place I had ever been and it was the first place that gave me hope for long term recovery. It was not always easy and I had some big road bumps along the way, but I was able to complete the program. I have been sober ever since and I know Burning Tree was instrumental in preparing me for a life of continuous recovery.

The more time I've spent away from this place, the more people I see who have died tragically from my "class".
1. You join this program under false pretenses and under manipulation. They take your cell phone, money, ID and credit cards. Then you find out the program is 2 years, not 6-8 months as you were told initially.
2. They isolate you from your family and friends. Sometimes this might be therapeutically necessary if for instance you have toxic relationships but they started limiting my contact with my 5 year old son after promising me I would remain connected to him. They kept

Horrible horrible place! They only get one star because I can't give them zero! The fact that they advertise as a dual diagnosis facility is an absolute JOKE. I have PTSD from 9/11 and I was having very vivid flashbacks and my counselor's answer to what I should do was 'pray and ask god about it.' That was his answer to any and every question I had. I was also kicked out and dumped in a homeless shelter the day after my parents had just paid for another 3 months and they refused to give even a partial refund. Their policy is also to blacklist anybody who is kicked out so my

Dont go here, simple as that. I left this place worse than when i went in, no doubt about that. This environment breeds resentment and dishonesty. Clients are constantly belittled and punishment is handed out without discretion. Imagine an old crotchety sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous who is sarcastic and unhappy with their life, now imagine that person opens a treatment/behavioral modification center in the middle of bumfuck Texas.

It has been almost 7 years since I was a client there, but I know what they do there is something that no other treatment center can give to a person who suffered such a hopeless state of mind that i suffered from. I had been to 2 other treatment centers and only been using for 5 years but in that 5 years I had been arrested, lost custody of 2 children and was homeless on the street. With that being said Burning Tree saved my life and gave me my family back.
It is not a cult like others have said in other reviews. It is not a bunch of amateurs running the place either. It is a place that teaches

Ts been 7.5 years since I was a client at Burning Tree Ranch. I had been to 13 programs and was hopeless. Today i am an active member of a 12 step program and have a full and sober life, I have read some of the reviews and was compelled to say that i find most of comments made from angry people who couldn't have their way which is exactly what will keep them trapped in their addiction with no hope of freedom. I will also say these statements about BTP being a cult and being subject to a linear type of thinking is not true.
