This place looks aesthetically beautiful but on the outside but is managed poorly. They advertise all these amenities but cant use them. The clubhouse is not accessible for functions and can only access on Tues Thurs when social worker is there. No parties or functions allowed after 5:30 pm and no weekends. They insinuate that the pool is heated but it's not. One of the buildings has had problems with no hot water and has had it since they opened. The boiler needs to be replaced but management claims they dont have the funds thus resulting in interrupted hot water frequently. Washing

I would also give it a "0" rating if I could. I had an aunt that used to live there and there management is bad news and they don't treat seniors with respect or dignity at all. They call it affordable income apartments for seniors which is a joke. They raise the rent every year so how could it be affordable to seniors when they only receive limited income. Every thing about that place is cheap especially the appliances. It also was a nightmare living with most of those nasty nosey, trouble making seniors! Not senior friendly at all and BAD SERVICE is right!

Honestly! If I could give it a '0' or minus rating, I would! I called to get more information on their prices and the person could only repeat what was already 'on the website' but couldn't get the person to answer my direct questions! Horrible!!! I couldn't get her to explain or answer my question but she would only direct me to the website! BAD SERVICE!

I have an uncle who lived in Solaira, which is a senior apartment. During college spring break, my sister and I decided to visit him. My uncle's apartment was scheduled for a pest control spray. After the pest control, my uncle received a notice later that day from the office stating "Violation of Lease". So the next day, my sister and I went with our uncle to speak with the manager and clear any misunderstandings. As my uncle was explaining that my sister and I were only there for spring break, the manager would not believe us. I recalled her stating that "perception is everything

My grandfather called and informed me that the Solaira management turned off all the televisions in the downstairs lounge in every single building because a few people were fighting over what channel they wanted to watch. I visited and noticed that many senior citizens were now seating by the television at night in a very sad and lonesome manner. I think the management took actions too extreme by confiscating the remotes of every single lounge in every single building. They treat senior citizens like kids, without any respect and dignity. The widespread shut down of televisions is a bad management
