I removed the toilet during a bathroom remodel, and noticed that it had been leaking and the subfloor was all wet around the flange. I didn't know how serious the damage would be, so I looked around for restoration companies and decided to ask San Diego Water Damage for help.
I talked to Rafael, who asked me to take a picture and send over. He called back later in the day and said that it doesn't look like serious damage. He asked me to do some tests to confirm, then concluded that it would be enough to just let the wood dry out.
I didn't need to actually hire the company, but

Writing a 5-star review for this company especially w Eric who was our main point of contact person throughout the whole thing. He was so accommodating with everything. He answered our questions (and we do ask a lot of questions!!) with patience. He was super communicative via text which made things much easier. The company quickly came over when I first reached out to a few businesses on Yelp so the timing was really quick. Highly recommended!

I own a unit in San Diego and received that dreaded phone call from my tenant on a Sunday night. While out to dinner, I find out that my whole entire loft was flooded. I was completely shocked and it is such a stressful situation to be in when this hasn't happened to you before. I was at a complete loss at what to do. I can honestly say that I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed when I got off the phone with Rafael. I had a pipe leak in my master shower which flooded my living room. This has never happened and I didn't know what to do. So I went to yelp and just knew I wanted someone reputable to come out ASAP and get this water cleaned up.
They were responsive and helpful.
My insurance ended up being sticklers and Rafael fought for our case the whole way.
I highly recommend them!

Fantastic job on our repair! Larry M worked so hard to get our job done on time and within our budget. They work was completed very well, the finished product looks great and he was very easy to deal with.
Larry was honest, direct, and worked hard to get the job done! The finished product looks great and, unlike some companies, the job site was left clean. Still needed some polish, they're not a "cleaning" company per se, but it was left clean enough to just touch up and be finished.
Great work and I would definitely recommend Larry and the team!

Rafeal and his team were great to work with. After all the rain we had in early 2019, we found water and mold in the corner of our office. In addition to fixing the mold issue (and damaged drywall), Rafeal gave us great ideas to avoid issues in the future. Rafeal and team were busy and still managed to see us right away, diagnose the issue, and get to work immediately. I highly recommend them in the unfortunate event you find water damage and mold!

We had water leaking from upstairs into the walls between our bathroom and the exterior. The initial restoration company assumed it was a shower leak and wanted to take apart walls upstairs and re-build the shower (thinking they could get insurance money for it). Something with them did not sound right, so I called San Diego Water Damage Services and Larry was over first thing in the morning. He took us through a full review of where he could detect water and, without making assumptions, gave us a recommendation on what to do to figure out if/where the damage was. This was significantly less expensive
