Established in Bend, Oregon 1998 by Angela Kent. Angela moved to California for about 5 years after marrying and became Angela Kephart. She somehow managed to keep her studio open in Bend, while she worked for The Tattoo Lounge in Venice Beach and then Laguna Tattoo in Laguna Beach. Angela had the chance to work along side of Bugs, one of her most idolized tattoo artists, who is world famous.
Angela moved back to Oregon after a divorce and is now a single mother, running her shop with the help of other artists. She strives to make certain that she's got plenty of time available for the high demands of walk-Ins by allowing Mum's to host new and upcoming artists. Angela specializes in custom work and is an extremely versatile artist.

I have to start by saying I've been to other tattoo studios in Bend and while most all of them are similar in atmosphere, cleanliness, and professionalism, and have skilled, friendly artists, there's just something about Mum's that makes you know you've made the right decision in coming to this studio. In addition, it doesn't hurt when you've heard nothing but good about the artist and studio.
The studio is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional, and Angela is extremely personable. She's just plain awesome!

If I could do negative stars I would! DO NOT go to Mums Tattoo Studio!! The owner, Angela Kent, cancelled on me hours before my appointment and did not offer to reschedule (she did finally offer after multiple texts to her as she does not answer phone calls where she was condescending and unprofessional) and will not refund my $50 deposit (the tattoo itself was small and probably only would have been $50). I have never heard of any business keeping a deposit after the business cancels your appointment?!! This is unacceptable and I encourage everyone to share my post and use a different studio!

The art is amazing and I loved everything but the attitude I was talking trying to calm down and she snapped at me and my sister. This was my very first tattoo and I don’t believe this how you treat someone on their first time. She was really rude and was even extremely rough on me. I gave it more then a 1 star cause the art is really good but terrible customer service

Angela was rad, my brother and I where in from out of town, called ahead and walked in, both got tattoos and paid a very reasonable price for size, color, and professionalism. This was my first tattoo and it was great to learn so much about the sanitation process and to see that Angela goes over the top for the safety of their clients and herself. I’d definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area, Angela has been tattooing for a very long time and if you’re cool, she will show you all sorts about her trade.

I've been going to Mum's shop since I moved to bend, thats 4 years plus now. I have always had a wonderful experience every single time I've been in her shop. Very clean shop, superb work!!! I absolutely love all of my pieces!!!! I can't wait for my next tattoo. If you want honest, clean work this is the place to come. All of my tattoos except one have been done in this shop!! Definitely recommend Angela she is AMAZING!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!
