Native Oregonian Nutasha Nicole has spent over the past decade working in the tattoo industry. Nutasha specializes in 3-D Nipples, Lip Blushing, permanent eyeliner, brows, freckles, tooth gems and scar camouflage. Nutasha is delighted to be the first tattoo artist specializing in Areola Restorative tattooing in Central Oregon, Working with clients who have undergone gender reassignment surgery and mastectomies.
For the first 24 hrs it is recommended to eat softer food and avoid chewing on the side the gem was just installed, as the adhesive is still curing. Tooth gems are exactly what they sound like: tiny jewels, usually just a few millimeters in size, applied to the tooth with an adhesive. There's no drilling involved so the gem can be removed by a dentist at any time.
Taking proper care of your tattoo before and after receiving it is extremely important in what the end result will be. Below you will find instructions on how to take care of your tattoo and permanent make-up. This is the aftercare our artists at Black Opal recommend, but it is always important to listen to your artist and ask them first if you have any questions about the care instructions and healing process.

Kailah is the best of the best and I would wait years to only get tattooed by her. I got my first couple do tattooed by her last year and my husband has been getting a full piece by her this year. She’s extremely talented in all different styles and just a serious bad ***!! Every time we are in bend and I’m walking around while my husband gets tattooed, I get stopped in every store asking who tattooed me. Kailah is WORTH THE WAIT and money! So thankful to have found her!

Went here for my first tattoo and it did not disappoint!! I was super anxious but the atmosphere was so fun/amazing it calmed me down right away. I was lucky to have Flora tattoo one of my favorite characters on my arm and it came out exactly how I wanted!! Flora was amazing, definitely will reach out to her/Black Opal for my next tattoo :)

I got a tattoo here from Samantha and I can hands down say it was my best tattoo experience by far! This was my 6th tattoo and I will definitely be returning to Black Opal for more! The environment was comfortable, I didn’t feel judged, everything was clean and organized. I’ve been to other shops where I felt judged or shamed and Black Opal made me feel welcome and like I was in good hands. I’d recommend them 10/10 times. 🖤

I'm currently sitting with the plastic wrap on my arm after the second appointment to finish up my newest ink. Aaron was very kind and professional throughout the entire process. He listened to my ideas during the initial consultation. At the first appointment he was very patient while adjusting his template for my arm. He was even welcome to my addition to the design. During both appointments he made sure I was comfortable, and reminded me that we could take a break at anytime if I needed it. 5/22/2020 Update. This is the second time I've gone to Aaron. As usual, Aaron is a true professional. He intently listens to what your thinking in regards to your tattoo and he's a master at interpreting your input and transferring that to your body with his art. I've already scheduled my next appointment. This time I've challenged him to completely remake a 24 year old tattoo. He didn't hesitate to accept the challenge and I can't wait to see the final result in a couple months.

I waited 2 years to be tattooed by Kailah and I was NOT disappointed. She has a very light touch in her tattooing. And to say she has mad skills is an understatement. I'm absolutely in LOVE with my tattoo. It's not JUST BEAUTIFUL but it's everything I wanted. It is big but took us just under two hours. She is as fast as she is talented. I have no bad things to say whatsoever except that I wish I could have done it sooner! I will totally be back for more work though.

This studio is so great! I have been tattooed from Kailah a few times over the past few years and she always does an amazing job. She is always so quick and does very clean work that heals perfectly.
