My Nissan truck needed new control arms this time, and they were replaced promptly at a good price. They also offer convenient payment plans for repair costs, which are very helpful. I sent my car here to get fixed. 3 months later and 300 wasted dollars after they failed to fix my vehicle I found out my catalytic converter also got stolen out of their parking lot and they say it's not their problem they won't pay for it or do anything to help. I understand that it's the industry standard but to have no short of safety precautions for your vehicle is not a good idea don't leave it with them. They didn't even figure out that happened the next shop that got my car is who told me it got stolen.

After having been told that my 05 Jeep Liberty engine needed replacing and some other minor work I was quoted 7000 + for the work at some other mechanic, but after having seen all the great reviews I decided to take it to half price auto repair for a second opinion. The engine indeed needed replacing but they quoted me 2000 less for an an engine with less mileage on it to boot I will definitely be back for any future auto repairs best prices in town and the guys that work there are chill recommended

Second time using their service, second experience was not as good as the first. So I left my car like last time, they pretty much tell you first thing they are not responsible for anything lost or stolen from your automobile, it's even posted on the window. I own an operate a private chauffeur service here in the valley. 1 of my suburbans transmissions went out on Sunday. I called several other shops and most of them had a 2 week backup just to get the truck in. Half price promised to have the truck back in 2-3 days. We dropped the car off on Monday when they open and had the car back by 4pm same day! Now that is impressive, that truck and driver only missed one day of work during a busy season. I highly recommend them to anyone.

These guys do good honest work. Will be bringing all my cars here! These guys understand that sometimes the customer will be strapped for cash and even when the repairs are authorized will only do the necessary ones. They changed out the front brakes but left the back ones on because they still had 4-6 months of life in them. Might not seem all that much but for someone that is spending their last dime on car repairs it makes a difference! Edward thanks for taking care of my 08 honda fit!

Honest dependable shop, I absolutely recommend. I had my truck towed here and I couldn't have been more impressed! Sheldon was AMAZING and so knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be replaced and inspected all other areas for potential damage and knew exactly what type of parts would preform best in my truck (lifted diesel). He was extremely communicative and transparent regarding costs and got my truck fixed quickly. Everyone I came into contact with was polite and professional. I am so happy with my experience at Half Price Auto Repair and will definitely be back for future services.

I cannot explain what a good decision it was to go to half-price auto repair! I took my car to the dealership and got a quote on everything and then brought my car to this auto shop. They literally did it for half the cost that I would've paid at the Maserati dealership!! I cannot recommend them enough, please only go to this repair shop for any car needs whatsoever and tires! Our transmission went out and we were quoted over 3k by several places including dealerships. Adrian was amazing and gave us such a great price. We had our car back on time as promised. He truly cares about people and will take amazing care of you and your car! this is the ONLY place we will have our car worked on from now on.

First, they are not half price. They charged the same amount a dealer charged for the service.

We had a regular maintenance done here and they seemed ok.
About 6 months later, we came in with a symptom (engine noise) - like most people did and a question of what it was. We pay attention to our cars and how they sound, feel, run so we pick up small differences and we expect our mechanics to give us truthful information about if there is something to be concerned about or not. Unfortunately Half Price auto did not do that - they did an unnecessary repair with no testing to confirm what it was,

I've been getting service on my Jeep Wrangler for a few years now here- as a single woman it's extremely nerve racking going somewhere new as I'm always taken advantage of being I don't know anything about vehicles. After verifying that I was a first-time customer, the manager charged me $40 (actual advertised price was $19.99) then told me my car would need all 4 motor mounts replaced (his charge $400-500). First, my car only has 3 motor mounts, not 4. Second, I found several mechanics willing to replace all 3 for $150.

I took both our cars here for some service that they needed. Adrian and Eddie were both extremely knowledgeable with both models of cars we have. I have an older 2008 GL 550 and my girlfriend has a 2011 E550. They were fast in the service and turned it around same day for us at a better price than I found anywhere else around town. They let you know of any future work that may be needed so you can budget ifor it if you don't choose to do it while it's there on that visit. Incredibly happy with Edward and his team at Half Price Auto. My family and I were taking a road trip from CA to Tennessee. An hour outside of Phoenix our AC quit on one of the vehicles. We found Edward, called, and he agreed to squeeze us in as soon as we arrived. He not only fixed the problem without overcharging us, but held our vehicle until we returned from our trip to pick it up, and kept in touch with us to make sure we knew what was going on with it.
