I highly recommend this shop, multiple places were unable to properly diagnose my car and The Auto Shop had all the answers for me within a few days. They work diligently and fast, they are fair and understanding. I feel very safe putting my car in their hands, and now even look forward to going to the mechanic shop!

I was referred by my brother and have been here twice - once for an oil change & the other for tire replacement and alignment. Very clean, friendly, professional & reasonable. Felt they they provided fair pricing and cared about customers over making money (awesome!). Feel they are very trustworthy and will continue to frequent this business for all my auto needs. Good people! Also they were very prompt and made it easy to get to and from my home w/ either a shuttle or Lyft. Have not Thad to wait long either time I have gone and everyone is good about wearing masks. I will continue to recommend

$90 for a diagnostics test and IT WONT be applied to my repair. What a joke this place is. Every other shop I called within a 5 mile radius (9 total) said that it was unheard of for a shop no to apply the diag to the repair costs.
I came here a year ago and was very pleased with the work performed but now they don't factor in the diag lmao stay away from here

It's quite nice to find a locally owned, clean, and personable car shop like The Auto Shop! Mickey is very helpful and is probably the nicest person I've ever had to deal with doing any kind of car service. They provided a ride to/from the shop which was quite nice.
The only reason I can't give them 5 stars for this visit was because I was using an online coupon from their site, which seemed like a REALLY good deal (3 fluid flushes for $125). They said they would accept the coupon...until they actually saw it and realized that their web person made a mistake on it. Mickey

My first time using the auto Shop. I was pleased with time that Mickey spent explaining the services on the phone and then also the simplicity of making the appointment online (and discount for doing so) Very accommodating service. My truck was repaired in a timely fashion, at a decent price. I would recommend the Auto Shop

Very satisfied with the work that Mickey and everyone else at the shop did. They were able to figure out why my car had trouble starting up, get the part, and fix the issue within a day. Throughout the process Mickey was very open about what they were finding with the car, how long it would take to fix, and what I could expect to pay. When the issue started looking more complicated, Mickey said he would still honor the original quote he gave me. He was actually able to bring the price down by over 25% by the time the fix was done, and that means a lot to someone on a college budget. I also appreciate

Mickey always seems to find a way to get me an appointment even when I KNOW they are jam packed. I may have to wait a little longer than usual, but they definitely, consistently go above my expectations and understand how vital my car is to my work. This place is awesome. I have been there maybe half a dozen times for various things and I will continue to use them in the future. Also - oil change for me was $39.99 which I thought was a pretty dang good price for synthetic blend. It's a great little neighborhood car shop and I'm glad we have it here.

I am giving this shop 5 stars! I have a 94 Toyota Camry an old car that no one really enjoys working on! I had my power steering pump go out and went to another shop that basically cared more about money than fixing up my car. Being a single mother I needed my car. I spoke to the auto shop on Friday and brought my car in Monday (today) at 7:00am. By 1:16pm my car was ready for pick up. Mickey was so amazing and he made me feel like he cared more about my car than making a profit! I was afraid of this terrible cost and it was so affordable I am amazed. I will be back in 7 days for an inspection

The motor / regulator that rolls my passenger window up and down broke, so I decided to give the Auto Shop a try based on a coworker's recommendation. The Auto Shop quoted me less than the dealer and it's convenient for anyone who works downtown.
The service was quick and professional, and they guy who runs the place is really nice and personable. They even offer a shuttle service where they'll pick you up / drop you off. I walked to work but had them pick me up in the evening and they were right on time.
So far so good, the window is working well! I will use the Auto Shop again

Really great, relaxing, stress-free service! Especially the cold water, complimentary coffee and super comfy couch! I've came here about three times to fix my car under unexpected, critical circumstances and they took care of me and my car. I am a college student with limited help in finances, but the owners are always willing to work it out. I am very thankful to have found this place. I love the service and hospitable environment that the owners and employees create. I highly recommend this place based on my experience!

Very friendly and very reasonable shop! Just had a quick (but painful job) done on my exhaust. Kurt said it would be about an hour, so I decided to get Matt's big breakfast. It's right down the road, Bonus! Got the car in and out quickly. They gave a little discount and free wiper blades on your first visit! Highly recommend The Auto Shop, support local buisness!

The staff is very polite and courteous, and they don't talk down to you, nor are they aggressive salespeople. They provide you with updates on your car and they don't push a sale if you can't afford it. Very understanding and personable, and I didn't feel pressured into getting any services I didn't need or couldn't afford. They're happy to explain stuff to you and provide accurate estimates as well.

I avoid the dealership because I feel like they look for problems and pay their service techs in commission. And they take advantage of me because I'm a woman who isn't supposed to know anything about cars.
Thankfully I have found The Auto Shop. I don't know what everyone else is complaining about. I LOVE these guys!
I've been to The Auto Shop twice in the past few years. The first time was because our battery died and we towed the car there to have a new one put in. This last time was to replace a headlight. Both times the mechanics have been honest and courteous.

I recently took my Subaru to The Auto Shop for service. They were AWESOME! They listened to my concerns, gave me a ride to work and called me shortly after with an estimate for the repairs. They finished the work the same day and picked me up from work so I could get my car back. The explanation was thorough and my bill ended up being less than the estimate! I will be using The Auto Shop exclusively from now on. Mickey and Kurt were both friendly knowledgeable and honest. I recommend them to anyone looking for auto repair in downtown Phoenix!

Last visited here a year or so ago. Mom and I were here once before for both of our cars a couple of years ago and liked our experiences then, so I came back. This time it was an oil leak, but they could not find the leak after two attempts. How much did their "investigations" cost me? More than $600!! And my car STILL leaked! I called a relative, who's knowledgeable in cars and lives out-of-state, and told him of my troubles here, and after speaking w/ the manager on the phone he was able to get him to give my money back.

I was very disappointed with this shop. I called to make an appoint for their minor maintenance service. Before we ended the call he tells me "We are all set I have you down for the MAJOR maintenance" which is $350 more then the service I scheduled. I corrected him and blew it off as a simple error minor, major maybe they sounded the same to him.

About 5 years ago I needed a mechanic and a coworker told me she was friends with one of the owners of this place. She said he was a former Indy 500 mechanic and ran a slightly higher-end operation, but that he'd never rip me off and won't screw up my car.
