Avo Bagramyan has always been interested in how things work. At a young age he would take apart his family's VCR and put it back together. When he was 14 years old his older brother bought a car and together they would work on it. Avo had a natural ability and decided that fixing cars was his passion.

I came in for a new battery and oil change but Avo found another problem whilst when I brought my car in. The water pump was leaking and dire need of replacing.
I came back the next day, towing in my Chevrolet Equinox that has been unfortunately overheated. Avo told me it was gonna take a day to get fixed and I just got my car back, he has my car up and running again!
Will definitely come back if I need repairs again.

I came in with a overheating Toyota Tacoma. Long story short Avo's was able to figure out that the car needed a new head gasket!!!
I just bought this truck too, like, minutes after buying it. A head gasket job is a big job. Avos was able to replace all the parts and document to me what was wrong. Great staff here! I wish they lived closer to where I live so I could make them my primary shop. But I had to use this shop because my car I just bought broke down in downtown LA.
Amazing service and communication across the board!
P.S. it's kinda hard to find the shop, it's next to

If your looking for a honest mechanic, this is the place to go. Owner Avo is a master mechanic and is straight forward with what your car needs. No upswell. I came in because I needed my Xterra to pass state emissions test. He checked it out and told me what I would need to fix to make it pass. He gave me an estimate fixed what needed to be done and a week later my Xterra passed and I was a happy camper. I’ve been back for an oil change and i was in and out within 30 min. I will keep going back. And this is from someone driving from Van Nuys to his auto shop.

Avo is a straight up g! He's a legend. Went in today after mechanics have been attempting to scam me all week, only to have the best ever experience with Avo's Automotive. I'm a young female so I know I'm a target for mechanics and so I always approach with caution. Right off the bat, I had a good feeling about Avo's as Avo himself greeted me and started talking with me right away about my Tacoma and the issues I was having. I trust them, and that's hard to say about a lot of body shops.
Avo himself came and rescued me on the side of the road with a quart of coolant when my car wouldn't start.
He found a new brake light on Amazon- sent me the link, I bought it and he installed it for free!! This place is something from somewhere else idk what to tell you

Came in to change out my oil pan due to my amateur mechanical skills. The while process took no more than a few hours, the guys here are extremely friendly and they treat customers like families. I can't think of any other auto shops that is honest, respectful and efficient. If you can read this review, don't bother checking out other places. This is the shop for you. I'm so thankful for this place!! Thanks so much Avo's auto!
P.S I'm a car sticker enthusiast and I have a whole lot on my engine bay cover. I guess they slapped on one more for free!

Truly, don't even think about wasting your time and money anywhere else. My regular mechanic had no clue as to what was wrong with our Nissan and neither did two others when it was playing up on a roadtrip.
A few hours with Avo and well, bad news on the vehicle, but good news on finally locating a mechanical guru with integrity and soul. I may have lost a car but went away with my faith in people reaffirmed and knowing that any car I buy in the future will be very well looked after.
A five star rating for a five star wizard and awesome company.

Great waiting lobby, and I just spent a few min chatting with another customer who told me that her son found this place and have been coming here for many years. I came here to get my tires rotated but also to check them out myself to see if this could be my new home. I just moved to Boyle Heights and needed a mechanic that would be honest with me about my car. I'm on a budget but will always try take care of my car first.
