I went to this mechanic for a vibration and a crunching sound in the front of my car. He had it for 3 full days and it still needed an alignment which he said would take another full day. I refused to let him have my car for one more day I would just take it and get it done myself. I went in to pick up my car he presented me with an invoice of $2600 once I went over it and realized that he was overcharging me by $700 I became very upset upset as anyone would. I originally brought my car to have the front end looked at because I had a vibration and I also had a crunching noise. The car went in the shop at 9 o'clock on Monday morning around noon they called and told me that it needed among a few other things struts on the front. So I said go ahead and do it. They did other work as well on the air conditioning the cabin filter so on and so forth and it came to about $2500, that was the original quote. They did the work. Took my car on for a battery replacement and to get a coolant leak fixed. Mechanic wanted to return the vehicle without looking at the leak. For several weeks I reached out asking for timelines and estimated cost but it was very difficult to get a response. After about 3 weeks I I went to pick up my car. The price I was quoted the day before was not what I was eventually charged. Not only is there still a coolant leak but my driver side window no longer works.
(I do want to say that the owner was nice I was just not pleased with the service and the fact that I lost a lot of time and money and

Highly recommend this auto shop!! Stacy is one of the most honest mechanics I’ve ever been to. I was in Vegas for a short vacation, went in for a check engine light, and was shown and told exactly what was wrong with my car within 15-20 minutes. Super nice guy and very professional. You won’t be disappointed!

I found ASK Auto Repair on google and decided to go there because of all the great reviews. I'm SO happy I did. The owner was able to change my rotors and brake pads right on the spot! He's a very personable and it feels like you're talking to a friend. It was a top notch experience. I recommend ASK Auto 110%. Don't trust these guys. Tried to sell me a whole new engine for 8000$ and swore up and down that was the issue. I'm not idiot so of course I didn't trust that assumption. I took my car down down the street and all it needed was oil , LOL. These guys are a joke would never recommend this spot to anyone

I have gone to Stacy for years for my car repairs, he is honest and fairly priced and will tell you either get the repairs or get rid of the car. My boyfriend has a 2006 Hummer and has had nothing but problems since he bought it, he kept using his own mechanic and putting thousands of dollars into it and it kept breaking down daily. Finally I'm told him it's time to take it to my mechanic. I was referred to Ask Auto Repair by an amazing friend of mine and unfortunately it was a horrible experience.
Went in for an A/C repair and they had my suv for almost a week before being able to say what was wrong.
After the first time they fixed it the A/C went out again. This time we took it back and they had it for 3 days. They stated that a part they installed was faulty. Ok it happens.
Once again the A/C goes out. This is now the 3rd time. I contacted the owner, Stacy, and asked for a refund as I was just going to take it elsewhere. He offered to repair it again under their Napa warranty

I ran into some car trouble on my way into Vegas, and was leaving the next day so needed to find a mechanic with a fast turnaround time.
I found Ask Auto Repair here on Yelp, and decided to message Stacy. He was extremely responsive, and gave me a very reasonable quote. When I went to their shop the next morning, they saw to me immediately and was able to fix my issue quickly. Was in and out of the door in 20 minutes, and able to drive back home to LA with no problems!

I've been going here for at least a year having work done on my left window motor, oil changes , battery replacement and this last visit for some bad oil leaks. I've never had a problem. Everything is always fixed right the first time. Prices are reasonable and Stacy is a great guy to deal with along with everyone in the shop. He's busy but not so busy he won't work you into the schedule. This is the place if you need auto repairs. It's old fashioned, they still believe in service and quality.

When I had called to request a quote, I spoke with Stacy. He was very patient with me when I tried to explain to him what was wrong with my vehicle, from what I was told by the dealership. Despite the whole pandemic going on, he was absolutely booked. I wasn't in a hurry to get my car fixed since I'm temporarily working from home but he managed to fit me in the next day. He was just as friendly in person and even showed me the parts that he was using for my vehicle. I didn't really care much because I don't know much about the parts anyway, Lol but at least he took the time
