Services
Generally, most repairs can be completed within 3-5 days from the time they are dropped off. If you simply have a flat or a simple repair they can be completed in some cases as you wait. In these cases it's dependent on the current work load and other variables. We also schedule repairs if you need your bike for training purposes or need it for everyday transportation.
All high-end mountain bikes ride different and we feel you should have the opportunity to ride what you want to buy. Below is what we have to offer thus far this year. Exclusively a mountain bike brand SANTA CRUZ has redefined the riding experience. The guys at SANTA CRUZ just don't design the bikes and send them to production, they push them to the limits.
Stop by anytime with your bike, we can help you identify the problem and work within your timeframe to get you back on your wheels. You can always expect great service with a great attitude. Whether it's as simples as a flat fix to the most comprehensive overhaul we can get it done. We like getting people back on their bikes doing what they enjoy.

Picked up my thirty-three year old twelve speed Univega bicycle today on which I had two tires and tubes replaced along with new shifting cables and had a complete tune up done and the bicycle looks and rides like brand new. Very friendly and knowledgable staff on hand to answer any questions and the bill was a little less than anticipated. Very satisfied.

They fixed my bike on the same day even though they were overbooked with service. Not only that but the adjustments were made perfectly. When it came time to pay they reduced the price even though i had agreed to a higher one earlier because they'd accidentally totaled something twice. Honesty, fast and professional service. thank you

Just WOW! The customer service here is AMAZING! Staff is awesome! I'm a beginner and the OWNER took the time to sit down with me and show me some stuff (apps on phone for good trails.) The guys there are so polite and attentive its crazy. I work in customer service myself, having a staff that's as friendly and helpful as they are is something i work towards every day.
I'm a tough customer (annoying) these guys dealt with me with grace and class.
I both purchased a bike from them and had my old bike serviced. My new bike is awesome and my old bike has never run better. Even better

Marc and his crew are great! He never tries to sell you something that you don't need. Just the other day I arrived at his shop at 5 minutes before closing. A half hour later he finished working on my bike so I could ride the next day. That was above and beyond my expectations. The crew at Centraal Cycle will not let you down.

They're the only local (North Shore) Santa Cruz dealer. Santa Cruz is a bike company that only makes mountain bikes. No cruisers, no hybrids, no roadies, just mountain bikes. It doesn't get much more serious than that.
Centraal has a demo fleet, which allows you to take the bikes you're going to ride in the woods out into the woods to ride them. As a newer biker, that was really important to me. Their friendliness, and willingness to answer lots and lots of newbie questions was

Called in to ask if they rent bikes. They found two bikes that met our criteria, and when I rolled in the bikes were already out and waiting. Very accommodating when I asked for drink holders to be put on the bikes.
They carry Jamis and Bianchi bikes, and have a good selection of cycling shoes for American feet (they didn't seem to carry the well known european skinny-feet brands haha).
Very nice looking store with a good community feel to it.

Ok. I might have been (more than) a little pissy when I picked my bike up from getting repaired after a major wreck. I'll chalk that up to it not looking anything like my old Peugot racer, which might be a good thing. Now that I've ridden it I can safely say that my old Peugot is back in the game. New everything (!) and whatever you did to my chain, guys, well it just purrs like a kitten. A very, very quiet kitten. My bike rocks and I'm so happy. I even like the new bars, and, well, the tape is growing on me. Thank you so much for the really great work. Worth every penny!!

When I was looking for a bike I had no idea what to think of this shop. I had been to the other bike shops in town (where I experienced great customer service also) so I figured I should at least stop in to check it out. The shop is gorgeous, which made me think that I would be overcharged or they would be snobby. I was totally wrong. Not only are their prices very reasonable, their service is great! I was in there probably 3 or 4 times before I actually bought the bike and every time they were very helpful and let me test ride the bikes as much as I wanted. I ultimately found a great bike

We discovered Centraal Cycle by accident, having found nothing remotely of interest at the bike shop across the street where we'd always gotten bikes in the past, so wandered over to Centraal Cycle out of curiosity even though we didn't expect to buy a bike from a relatively new shop.
They have great bikes though and Mark was really knowledgeable & helpful, not the least bit pushy, and we were impressed by the customer traffic that seemed like repeat customers.

This is a great shop with an owner who is not pretentious, but really down to earth and a great mechanic. He doesn't try to sell you things you don't need, and has a simple, organized shop that isn't cluttered.
I would highly recommend him for bike repairs and retail purchases, as his shop is independent and retail prices match those at REI.
I'm a commuter, and he fixes my bike in hours if I need it fast, which I usually do.
