Services
For as long as we can remember, our family has been listening when you have said, "I don't feel right about a fancy funeral" or"I just want something simple." Therefore, our family established Cleveland Cremation. The Cleveland area's first licensed firm dedicated to our community's needs for a business focused on cremation only.
Visitation to be held one hour immediately prior to funeral service at your church or our chapel. Coordination and supervision of graveside service to be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Veterans Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. So that the deceased remains in an essentially refrigerated state, we respectfully request that the identification be for no more than 30 minutes from the time we agree to begin.
The "wrist identification band" is placed on your loved one at the time we come to your home, hospital or other care facility. The cremation container is labeled with your loved one's name when they are placed into the secure refrigeration facility. Your loved one is logged into the facility logbook with name, date, time and driver's name and then placed into the secure refrigeration facility.

This is a long over due review for Cleveland Cremation. A year ago, January 5, 2021 my son passed due to Covid-19. With all the restrictions due to Covid19, I wasn’t able to be with my son when he died or fly from Houston to Cleveland to make arrangements for his service. I found Cleveland Cremation by searching on line. All arrangements were made by phone. I wasn’t pressured into spending more than I’d planned. The entire staff is professional, understanding and compassionate. Cremation was done promptly and I had my son’s ashes and death certificates before the end of January. Elizabeth

Darrin and Elizabeth are truly caring and compassionate people who will also ensure you fully understand everything involved in what is inherently a stressful and difficult process. When my brother and I lost our father, they gave us the peace of mind to know his body would be treated with dignity, respect, and in accordance with his wishes. They followed up routinely to both inform and support us through the grieving process and even stayed in contact well after my father's ashes were delivered. It is never easy to deal with death, especially so when making the final arrangements for your loved one’s remains. My Mom and I pre-paid her cremation in 2016. She recently passed on 9/15/2021. My experience with this company was simple and easy, not emotionally but, because we had already taken care of the details. They had all the final paperwork ready for me to sign. The prices were fair, compared to other sites I had researched. The only thing I felt, aside from the final details, was a sort of detachment about how I was feeling. All business on their part. But, if you are looking for a company who will take care of your loved one, even putting my Mom's remains in a container I provided and a memorial necklace

My son passed away suddenly in Parma, Ohio. It was tragic. He was only 43. The place of his death was 450 miles from home. Cleveland Cremation stepped up for us. We did not have a support network in Cleveland but they became our network. Darrin provided us with all we needed to get our son’s remains ready to be brought home. He also provided the death certificates from the Coroner’s Office. Thank you Darrin.
