Wanting to get work done on my own vintage bikes, it seemed nearly impossible to get simple jobs done at a reasonable shop rate or an agreed upon time window. Time and time again, I found that most shops have high hourly rates making any repair work simply not cost effective. In many cases their employees or the owner have no real knowledge about classic bikes nor have the experience and tools to work on them.
At Ben's Classic Bikes, your bike will be treated with love and dignity. We will do an honest assessment of the work to be performed and provide you with an estimate of how long and how much money is involved. Some projects are easier than others (as are their owners), but in the end your happiness is our greatest satisfaction!

Ben is an amazing mechanic, he went over and beyond in assisting us with repairs on our Harley Sportster. He took the time to call and text us daily with updates on her repairs and gave us plenty of options. My husband is a Diesel Mechanic but doesn’t work in Motorcycles, so it was great to find someone who has the passion at what he does like my husband. Ben takes pride in his job and it shows. He even followed up with us a few days after we got her back to check on how she was riding. Not all mechanics go the extra step but Ben does. So please if this review helps you won’t be disappointed

After much searching, I finally found a mechanic Ben, who knows vintage British motorcycles including Norton, Triumph, and my own a 1970 BSA Lightning. He spent a good deal of time chasing down an electrical problem that left me stranded a couple of times. After he repaired the problem, he test rode the bike 15 miles on freeway and through downtown Austin. No recurrence of the issue that bedeviled me and my first mechanic.
