I had a bad coloring done at a different salon. I called, they took the time out ti hear my concerns and then showed me several different pictures on what she thought would work best for my hair. I walked out of the salon completely thankful and living my hair. Not only fixed it, but gave such great customer service.

I did my hair with Ellie the designer. My original hair was dull and dirty look with self hair dye with Amazon purchased products that I don't know what I'm doing at all so my hair looked like a joke. My top hair was appx 10 inches long white-half assed self hair colored that fade away immediately. I went to see Ellie and did my hair. Grey hair tend to fade color faster than regular hair so she applied color on my grey hair first and repeat many time. As a result, even my grey hair got much vibrant color even I washed it many times already. I work at restaurant and my coworkers and customers

I had the most ridiculous, awkward and funny experience today at this salon. I m a business owner too and don't want to harm anyone. At least i can give you some tips before you go there. Bring your own water, don't ask for anything, don't compliment and have cheat-chat with masters. While you think you are having a warm conversation it actually can turn out to different way. My master was Blair . I loved her work. She did great job with coloring and blow dry but unfortunately couldn't get hair cut because she wasn't in her mood. But i have to be fair she felt sorry about

didnt style my hair whatsoever, gave the lady 3 videos. even a full 360 of the hair i wanted. basically gave me something close to a buzz cut and just cut my hair super short. charged me 60 bucks for something i could just do myself. dont go here for hair styling or cutting

I love this place! From the receptionist, owner, music and their casual atmosphere. Of course the most important reason why I love Bubble Pop is cuz of Kengi! I tried to go blond a couple years ago and I turned orange! Kengi fixed me up in a couple hours and now does my color and cut every 6 months. She is cool, easy to talk with and open to feedback. I recommend her highly!

I've been coming here for the last year to get mani/pedis with Mai, and she is PHENOMENAL. Her gel selection is stunning...she is thorough and fast and detail-oriented...she has gel foils and holographic powders and all sorts of fantastic options. Additionally, she has a little dremel kit that she uses to zip through filing and buffing and whatnot...honestly she is the most advanced nail specialist I've found in the city, and she's so sweet and kind to boot, and her prices are incredibly reasonable. I always leave so happy and feeling pampered!! She's like part mom, part mad

I am so happy with my first creative color results from Kengi at Bubble Pop! Went in for a consultation for purple hair, and she really spent time making sure I understood the pros, cons, upkeep and maintenance of what I wanted. I had pics, but she also brought up more pics on the computer and helped me decide what would look best with my natural brown hair. We eventually settled on purple balayage.
For the day of the appt, we went over the pics again together, making sure we both knew exactly what I wanted. Once she got started, she was so meticulous and thorough, didn't rush, and was fun

This review is for Mai, the nail artist! I had been on the hunt for a new sf nail salon where they do hard gel manicures and was so happy to find the service here. Hard gel nails last longer than shellac "soft gel" only and my nails are finally long enough for the coveted almond shape. Mai is fast, clean, and the pricing is modest compared to other nail-only salons. I make up for it in the tip for this hard working woman!

I am so so happy I came here for a haircut !! I had an uneven haircut and it needed work.
Long story short, Kengi saved my hair !! She was a good listener, meticulous, and did not rush . She took her time and made sure my hair was better than before. She did exactly what I wanted ! Haircut is $85 and is worth it when you have someone like Kengi. She is the best ! I'll be coming back next time.

I was in dire need of a makeover as it's been a long while since I last saw life in my locks. The salon was able to squeeze me in for a next day appointment...right in time for my vacay - yay!
Carla is incredibly friendly and a pro at what she does. She was honest about what was achievable and steered me clear of further damage by going for colors that don't work well for my current situation.
Fast forward a couple hours and I couldn't be happier w/ the results. I received so many compliments everywhere from strangers that made the time and money spent

She knows her stuff & they all seem very talented .

I follow stylist Anthony wherever he goes, since he consistently gives me the best haircuts I've had in my life, regardless of what style I ask him to try. My hair's fine texture has confounded many a stylist and resulted in wispy and unmanageable cuts elsewhere, but Anthony knows exactly how to shape my hair so it looks great from the day of the cut all the way until next time I have an appointment, even if I schedule it late! I've been ecstatic with the results since the very first time he cut my hair a few years ago. He's a master, and a surprisingly rare find in a city like SF.
