After a year of issues and a lien on our property of $2,500 that the owner Bryan Raymond stated he would pay, I would not recommend this company. We had an unorganized and quick install in 2019 where our roof was compromised many times. Diablo Solar called in their roofer who subsequently put a lien on our property. I guess it's time for Small Claims Court...

This company did our solar installation in the last 6 months. They were always timely, efficient, very communicative throughout the process, and reasonably priced (and not the lowest).
We had to call them back in order to fix a broken tile on the roof that was leaking. A roofing company said it likely will take weeks to get the solar company back but they were dead wrong. Diablo was here within 2 hours of calling them, readily admitted the problem was likely caused during the installation and proceeded to fix the problem.
If you are thinking of getting solar, I can't imagine a better

The experience with Diablo Solar Services was excellent from the beginning. They responded quickly. From initial contact to designing custom solar system was approximately 1 week. Design Supervisor Dino Calaguas listened to me and didn't try to push equipment on me, but gave me quotes for what I requested. I found many Companies would trash equipment that they did not sell. He gave me different quotes as I requested and each time his quote was adding more value for the system.

Diablo Solar replaced the twelve 8ft Fafco panel system that they had originally installed in 1987 with a new 12x 8 ft Sunsaver system. They did an outstanding job.
Our original system performed well but had to be removed and replaced when we had a new roof installed. The removal and replacement were done by the roofer who claimed experience, but the result was not good and I called Diablo Solar twice to fix the problems. We have been Diablo Solar customers for the last several years. This year we had a leak in our solar system and it took weeks for them to come investigate it (I understand, not enough employees, COVID, etc, etc.). When someone did look at it, they never even looked at the system on the roof, they immediately told us the whole system had to be replaced. It took them months to come out to give us a bid. When they finally did, they wanted to shrink our system and told us it was because of existing drainage on the roof. Our previous system (installed by someone else) was installed on a racking system

We had DS do a re-work of our existing solar water system after we had a solar PV system installed (by others). The quote was not super low, but we have had good luck in their start-up and shut-down service and panel replacement over the years, so gave them our business.
We had a small problem with a lag bolt they installed hitting the light fixture wiring in the garage causing a short. When we notified them, they were quick to schedule a meeting. This review is for solar pool heating systems. We have been customers for over 20 years and have installed two sets of pool heating panels over the years. Virtually every year there is a leak in one or more of the panels. Diablo has been good at honoring the warranties, so the repairs have not cost anything, and this is the reason for a second star in this review (although one might question why fulfilling a contractual obligation should merit any additional points). After waiting for weeks to repair a leak that was missed during my spring tune up I asked to speak to the tech....Was told they have no control over the tech....I was then told how busy they are...they come in the morning and pick up a stack of 25 tickets and rush out...Don't know what that has to do with speaking to the tech.
Was transfered to a voice mail....No name on the recording.....I've done this several times this.. month. .Have not yet spoken to the service tech who did my work after phone calls and emails.

We have been a customer of Diablo Solar Services for over 35 years having two sets of swimming pool solar panels. It is time once again to have the panels replaced. I called them a dozen times and I never had a response or reply to any of my telephone calls. This company should be crossed off y our list of potential vendors. We found another company that replied promptly. Obviously they don't care about their old customers.

Run Forrest run! Worst experience ever! They were quick to take my deposit. Then very difficult to get a hold of. They don't return messages or emails. I was literally calling their main number and leaving messages in every department. They show up to your house with no appointment. Just a very bad experience and I don't recommend them!

This is the most professional company I have worked with in my 12 years of home ownership. Dave Hampton was great to work with. They installed hybrid solar panels for our pool & house. They helped us decide on the most efficient use
of our limited roof space. Installation was quick & everything is working great. We did have a hiccup the first few days of use as the pool solar pipes on the roof sprung a leak, but they quickly came out to fix the problem. My wife & I have been very pleased with their high quality professional service.

Their employee showed up late, stayed less than 30 minutes, and left without resolving anything! I had to follow-up and found out needed service was delayed 2 more weeks! In the interim there was no response to my phone calls, and then I was charged for 1 hour service visit! Unbelievably bad service!!

I was looking for a Solar Photovoltaic company for my home. A main criteria was that the company be reputable and have a long track record. A warranty is no good if the company isn't around anymore. I was happy with Diablo Solar Services when they put in my Solar Pool System 30 years ago, so we sought them out. They are professional, and are looking out for their customers.
