My construction experience started on roofs. Early in my career, I specialized in metal roofs and eventually joined the Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 104. I worked there for 18 years. In 2014, I installed solar on my own home as a first effort to bring better health to my finances. I began consulting others for their self-installed projects under the name Help You Build Solar.
My passion for solar did not originate from the green movement. I think environmental conservation is a wonderful idea, but my passion for solar came from my financial resurrection. My own solar installation was a turning point in my finances. I can't think of any more sensible investment than going solar.

I would recommend Danny and Mirador Energy to anyone living in the Fairfield/Vacaville area looking for great service and a great price! I've been in the solar industry and solar-financing industry for 16 years now. This is the second solar system that I've purchased (first was on my previous residence).
Danny is world-class.
The price he charges is very, very reasonable.
The roofer that he got to fix my roof prior to the solar installation was also very reasonable.
I know from years of experience that he was able to get the permit and final permission-to-operate much faster than most solar installers.
Oh, and the installation is very high quality and attractive.

Mirador Solar is dependable and affordable. The owner is a local guy and he personally insures that the customer is happy with the finished product. I highly recommend Mirador Solar and I would certainly use them again. Whether it's an add-on or a new solar system, Danny will be your best choice. He did an add-on solar system for me, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Danny is a wonderful person and a very good business man. He is very prompt on his appointment times and goes the extra mile to please his customers. It's great having a local guy we can count on and depend on. His work is very professional and detail oriented. We are very pleased on how our system turned out. We also have an electric car which makes driving it almost free. It's nice to get a monthly bill of only around $10 and that's with us having a hot tub also.

We hired Help You Build Solar to help me design and order rooftop solar panes for our home. Prior to that we had consulted all the "big boys" and realized that they would cost us 30% more. We thoroughly checked Danny's references and asked lots of questions. He passed all our screens.
