Mike's Deli has been my favorite place for breakfast sandwiches since I used to live in Norwalk. One of the reasons is because they use fresh bread for the sandwiches. Also their bacon is always warm and crispy. The staff is always friendly. I always order the same sandwich Bacon & Egg with Mayonnaise. No cheese. They also have other breakfast options like burritos, cold sandwiches , fruits , coffee and drinks.

Called to order a roast beef sandwich today. Didn’t realize you need to tell them if you want anything on it.. i.e. lettuce, onion, cheese etc. girl did not ask me if I wanted anything on it so I stupidly assumed that it automatically came with things listed above. Not so much. I received roast beef on a roll. Disappointed.

I’ve been coming here for many many years, overtime their standards have seriously fallen, they really don’t understand how to cook food to ORDER and not in mass production in the morning ruining the quality and taste. They don’t seem to care either (the workers) I’ve always asked for poppy seed rolls and half the time they forget, the hashbrowns are all greasy and hard by the time you get them for your sandwich because they’ve been mass produced and when you ask for a fresh one “the fryer is busy cooking chicken cutlets” this is at 6:30am might I mind you. Definitely my last time

WINNER!! Hands down best Sub Sandwich in Ffld County. I love the Italian Combo. Clean, friendly, quick (ALWAYS CALL AHEAD) and worth the $ If ur hungry, get a sub, believe me! Lol and if u want a sub and its a gorgeous, sunny weekend, better pick it up by 11 or 12 latest!

Not sure what happened with the service here. Used to be great, as was the food. The last few months have made them lose my business. You repeat the order, and they still get it wrong. Yet I was charged for the 'additions' to the order! Not going back here thats for sure. Stay away....

Great deli in east Norwalk, personally my favorite around. Really great lunch and breakfast subs. I usually like to call ahead as it gets pretty busy at popular times. Easily grab sandwiches from here at least once a week. Highly recommend you check them out.

They constantly mess up my order- i dont think they understand english that well- which is an issue when running a business in America- i dont mean any hate, just the truth. i keep giving this place my business and they mess up 7/10 times on my order, this is unacceptable in my opinion. beware when calling in- check your order before leaving. The only time were REALLY good was in the summer when the younger folks are working there.

Great portions and best breakfast sandwiches in the area! Fast service! Highly recommend the southwest or the west coast jimmy sandwich !

The food and service is good.
but, the food is expensive for me and my friends. that is the only turn off for people i know. i bought a sandwich on a hard roll and was charged almost $10 ten bucks. So, then i was scared to buy a drink or potato chips

I understand it's covid.. but they got my order completely wrong, the bread that I didn't order was inedible bc it was overtoasted and rock hard, the rest of the sandwich was mediocre at best, and overall just a really disappointing experience. My grandma loves this place and I asked why and she said she gets chicken cutlets to feed her dogs. I just can't come back here again.

I absolutely LOVE Mikes Deli! I was there this past Sunday to order my all time favorite breakfast sandwich, “The Michellita” and it was sooooooo Delicious!!! It was busy in there but the team just kept cranking the orders out and mine was ready so fast, I didn’t think it was mine!! 😎 My Sandwich was perfect and fresh! Lunch time... their salad bar. 😍 OMG! Forget about it. Believe me... Go to Mikes Deli. It’s the hometowns’ favorite deli, no doubt! I love everything about Mike’s Deli!

Worst sandwiches we've ever had. We ate immediately after ordering. Chicken parm wedge was cold, Ruben was so oily, had no taste and the bread was a soggy mess and the Italian combo roll was hard. A lot of great delis in Norwalk, skip this one!

Was this business sold to new owners? I've been in twice in the past two weeks and it's all new faces and there is just a different "vibe" about the place. Same menu, sandwiches are great, but got a stale hard roll today so that was disappointing. Curious because it's one of my favorite places in Norwalk and a go-to for lunch if I'm out and about.

Great local deli with friendly staff. The tuna and turkey sandwiches are great. Breakfast sandwiches on point. Overall, I most definitely recommend!

Bomb food get the boss sandwich. Perfect thing to fill u up after a workout. Makes the pain worth.

Stopped in last Sunday to get lunch for the first time. Ordered the Buddha sandwich and onion rings both very good and both were put into one bag (which was too small), but because of the ridiculous plastic bag ruling in Norwalk, a bag with a handle wasn't available. Due to a disability, walking with a cane and trying to hold a bag in my other hand is difficult, not to mention needing to open the door to exit. Seeing my predicament, one of the guys from behind the counter came to my rescue, he opened the door for me, took my bag and then put both the bag and my wallet in my car for me.

First time at Mike's Deli and we were pleased with our order of sandwiches, wraps, and salads for a daytime party of 12. Lots of food and it was all very tasty. Prepared with little notice and staff was courteous.

Deli has a few rules ....fast, fresh and plentiful. 10 mins for a Ham, Egg and Cheese in rush hour. Staff moves very slow. Then not at all worth the wait. Crappiest HEC sandwich ever!

I don't know how I overlooked this place for so long, but that was a mistake on my part. I had such a delicious egg sandwich the other day, and took home curry deli turkey and fresh bread.

For a small deli on the side of the road, this place was a little hidden gem. The food was delicious and the service was tremendous. We got coffees and some breakfast snacks that we're all very good.

Stopped in on my walk to the train to grab lunch. I grew up in Norwalk, but never had the urge until now to stop here, only for convenience sake. I'm a huge fan of thanksgiving wraps so that caught my eye first on the menu. Excited, I waited until I got to the platform to open it up. I was only able to take one bite of this and had to spit that out. They use warm cold-cut turkey. I didn't even want to take a bite, but I had to be sure.

The other items on the menu might be better but DO NOT make the same mistake.

I love Mike's Deli! This is a quick, order at the counter place with delicious breakfast sandwiches and loaded lunch sandwiches. Everything is made fresh. The salad bar is awesome - always fresh cheeses and bacon, which is rare for a salad bar. The prices are great, very reasonable. Fantastic spot, my favorite deli in Norwalk!

The interior really requires some serious updating.
I know we aren't eating the interior but hey - it says a lot about you & your joint don't ya think?
It was hot, stuffy, packed w people & retail/stuff lining every wall. Not the cleanest place I've happened upon for a sandwich to go.
However, I ordered a fried egg & cheese on a fresh Portugees roll & it was ready in like 40 seconds, I paid & back in the car all in like 3 minutes which was just awesome on a Friday morning commute!
