I do my own work on my vehicles but every once in awhile I’m in over my head and I refuse to bring it anywhere other than Pete Kelley’s. George Bolis, the owner is just one good dude. Lots of mechanics try to gauge you but they’re always honest and they even refilled all my fluids prior to handing my keys back. Once you find a good mechanic you rest a little easier at night!

I wish I would have gone here sooner. The people here do excellent work at a great price. Not only did I get a list of things that needed done, I was also told what was still in good condition so we didn't get swindled by future mechanics. Plus they seem to really care about their customers. Highly recommend.

Had our car at a different shop and we have carshield.,..the other shop tried to seriously overprice the work so we had it towed to Pete Kelley's and they did an excellent job and for a reasonable price and far exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough about this place they are absolutely amazing. They are in my opinion the best automotive place in Phoenix by far. I had my engine seize on me . I took it to a different place for a engine replacement and got a quote. Pete Kelly was about 3k cheaper including labor. So far they have done my breaks , starter , and routine oil change over the time of 1 1/2 years. The cost compared to other shops far exceeds any price I've come across in reference to estimates. I had the transmission in my acura mdx rebuilt at pete kelleys last year. Since then it has been back to the shop a few times. The mdx has been there since october of 2019. Its now February 13 2020. I paid 4000 dollars for this transmission only to have my vehicle in the shop for half of the last year. At this point they could just give me my money back for the transmission and keep the car.

Lyle is an outstanding person and car care professional. Both he and Aaron (the mechanic that worked on my car) were so knowledgable and spoke to me in terms I could understand. They actually showed me the part and what was happening as to why the repair was vital. Prices are fair. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I never felt pressured for additional services. I'm glad to have finally found an auto service team who I feel are upfront, honest, and reliable.

Pete Kelly's is honest and trust worthy. The transmission on my 2010 Camry went out after 200k miles. George was super honest and helpful, he even offered to pick my car up from a near by location while I was at work. He provided me a detail summary of what would happen, he found me a used transmission for my Camry and installed it in 5days. Also, informed me that I may want to change my spark plugs sometime soon, so I asked to go ahead and make the change while the car was with him. Truly a reliable and honest establishment.

I brought my car in on Mon. and didnt get my car back for 3 weeks and there communication ,customer service were lacking to say the least .Replaced part that did not need to be replaced cost me $325.oo. And it broke down on the way home .DONT take your car there . I feel cheated and any input i had to say was ignored "maybe "because i am female .i give them a half star.

Response is a lie. The reason the groupon was expired was that they ignored all correspondence UNTIL the expiration date had passed. I called several times and the line never picked up. Left several messages that were never returned. Finally after the expiration date had passed (which I had previously given in the messages I left) I got a call back. My groupon was for a mechanic to come to my house. The person responding to my call said I would have to bring the car to them. The car was not operational, hence the reason why I purchased an at home service.

I had a great experience with Pete Kelley's. I took my 2008 Subaru in to get my timing belt and water pump replaced and I could really tell that they cared about me as a customer and my vehicle. James was very informative and friendly. He took me back into the shop to take a peak at my car because I also thought my brakes needed to be done. He showed me that my brakes were still in great condition and did not needed to be replaced at this time. Pretty cool for a mechanic to tell you that you don't need something fixed. Horrible customer service. More excuses than work done. This was an engine install which took longer than originally quoted (3 weeks because more expensive jobs took priority) and left timing 10 degrees off spec (20-23 degrees btc) and when we called to inquire about it, were told to fix it ourselves. When they called to let us know the car was ready, we were told that no mechanic wanted to test drive to insure everything was done properly because it is a small car. Pete Kelley's Auto goes beyond what customer service is all about. I had/have a computer issue with my Ford Escape and they went beyond the call of duty to fix it. I have been with my previous mechanic(amazing peeps) for a solid 10 years but went to Pete Kelley's because I have gotten to know George (owner) as a fellow Sunnyslope Kiwanis member.
Beyond giving me a courtesy vehicle(WOW), they explained each step they have taken to solve my issue. They are a stellar place that I can compare to no other.
