We strive to provide the most up-to-date, technologically advanced and complete medical and surgical eye care possible. To maintain good vision and to keep your eyes healthy, it is important to have routine eye exams. For those with stable vision and without any eye disease having routine eye exams every two years is important. At this exam your eyes will be dilated so the doctor can see into your retina, your vision will be checked and you will be screened for eye diseases or disorders.
Caring for your eyesight begins with a complete eye exam. It is the only place in the human body where a doctor can see a part of the central nervous system, the optic nerve. The observation of that nerve is a crucial part of a comprehensive eye examination. Optometrist and Ophthalmologist use a wide variety of tests and procedures to examine your eyes.
Many people, whether they are aware of it or not, suffer from dry eyes. Dry eye syndrome (DES) is one of the most common yet most under diagnosed conditions affecting the health of the eye. We are learning now that the complex nature of dry eye can begin as young as 10 or 11 years old and continues throughout a patient's life.
Eye surgery, also known as ocular surgery, is surgery performed on the eye by an ophthalmologist. The eye is a fragile organ, and requires extreme care before, during, and after a surgical procedure. Advanced Eye Care Ophthalmologists offer patients the most advanced and comprehensive treatments for all eye conditions.

I was there two different times. The first time was spectacular. It was an emergency, i had an orbital fracture. It was great. The staff was wonderful and the Opthamologist Dr Feulner was the best. I thought to return the great help with moving my optical work to here. Mr Cohen and his associate, i cannot remember the name, were fantastic. But none of that made up for Dr Joon. I have never felt more unheard than with him. So if you do go, get anyone but him.

Dr. Feulner is the best. As a patient for over 10 years, I truly feel my eyesight is in the most capable hands. I have never had a problem when getting eyeglasses, either. The staff is courteous and helpful. The office carries eye products for the patient's convenience, no guesswork, and from my experience, no mark-up either. Our eyesight is precious. We deserve the best care and I believe Dr. Lisa Feulner is the best eye doctor in Maryland. I trust her.

I would avoid this eye doc at all cost. As the other reviews say, they will nickel and dime you for everything. They actually cancelled my appointment then when I didn't "verify" the cancellation they charged me $40 for missed appointment fee. I was never seen on time, they were always running behind. So you care about YOUR time but not mine? I was a patient there for 4 years under treatment and all I really ever got about my condition was "we're watching it but you'll probably be blind in 5 to 10 years". After 4 years one would think they would have some idea how to treat me rather than just do

Terrible first experience. Front desk employees are very rude and not friendly at at all. We were five minutes late because of Bel Air traffic. I have two little ones and we were all supposed to have appointments at the time. The staff treated us like we were a major inconvenience. I was so upset that we left without seeing the doctor. We will obviously be looking for another eye doctor!

Listen to this if you are thinking about getting services from this place. This is the worst establishment for vision services that I have ever been to. The service here is terrible, the workers are incompetent, and the "doctors" do not actually help you. (Although they will "tell" you that they are there to help you on your very first visit, it's just to get your money; and yes they WILL attempt to nickel and dime you afterward). If you want real advice, this is it: don't walk, RUN far away from this place. There are plenty of other better, well-run establishments out there. Also, if in spite

Cannot say enough about Dr. Lisa Fuelner and her team!! They are professional, prompt, polite and truly care about you! They have consistently gone out of their way to help, during times when I had an eye injury as well as for routine visits! I travel from Carroll County because of their expertise, care and concern!

Dr McConkey and the whole staff at Advance Eye Care have been exceptional. They are always extremely friendly and helpful. Dr McConkey has gone out of her way to see me on evenings, weekends, and even holidays. I could not be happier with their service!!!

I have been a patient here since I was a child and I am no longer a patient after today. My younger sister, who is a minor, had an appointment and to help my parents out and so she wouldn’t be late I brought her. As soon as we walked in we were treated so rudely. I am a healthcare worker so I get it, COVID is frustrating, but you cannot take that out on your patients! I was rudely asked multiple times my age... I said, “I am 25 and she is 15 and your sign said minors need to have an adult with them.” To which I got “are you sure you’re 25?” They then took our temps and the front desk

I originally had a hard time matching their hours working an hour away near DC. I tried to call early to let them know I was going to be late on their longest hour day Thursday but it sent me to voice mail. After I picked up my glasses I found out that they can arrange for someone to wait for you or deliver it to you somehow. The doctors are friendly and know what they are doing; I was not a huge fan of waiting about 10 minutes to talk to one of the eye wear consultants, but they do know what they are doing with insurance coverage and style. I did have to lose two hours of work to pick up my glasses
