Voran Home Inspections is one of the oldest and most respected inspection companies in central Kansas. We have two full-time ASHI certified inspectors and have been in business since 1994. Through the years we have inspected thousands of homes, farms, and commercial buildings and have earned a reputation of being the best building detectives in the area.
Services
A complete inspection takes between two and three hours and covers the structural and mechanical systems throught the entire building. We also test gas appliances for carbon monoxide. We encourage you to accompany us through the inspection, asking any questions you may have along the way. It's a great way to learn how your house or building "works".
We started doing home inspections in 1994, and have done thousands of inspections in Newton, Wichita, Hutchinson, McPherson, and the smaller surrounding communities. You want an inspector who has "been there, done that", and we offer that level of experience to our clients on a daily basis. We typically take 2-3 hours to do the on-site inspection, more on larger houses, less if we bring two inspectors.

We hired Voran Home Inspections who was recommended to us by our realtor. We were purchasing our first home in 2018. We elected to let them do the inspection and then come afterward and they would inform us of any issues.
When I arrived, they took the time to explain all of the issues to me and why they mattered. They also took pictures of everything and emailed them to me. I can still go back and reference them today. This is hugely beneficial as I don't plan on getting on my roof or crawling into my attic. They were extremely thorough. They also explained things to me about the HVAC system,

I highly recommend Voran Home Inspections. They were very responsive, clear and knowledgeable about the options and process, and the home inspection itself was very valuable. They were thorough, informative and answered every question I had, even though i'm sure I asked questions that are not usually part of a home inspection.
