I took my mechanical Swiss watch in today as it had been malfunctioning (going way too fast, picking up as many as 10 minutes within an hour). Howie worked on it while I waited, and in about 15 minutes, handed it back to me. It has been 4.5 hours and the watch is now keeping time perfectly. The cost of the repair was very reasonable as well.
General - the place has a family feel to it. Two other customers came in as I was there, and it was clear that they were repeat customers, and had a personal relationship with the staff.
I therefore highly recommend this establishment. Competence, fair pricing

Absolutely amazing experience with Howies jewelers when purchasing my engagement ring. The family vibe of this great store is what lured me in, I didn't feel like I was being conned by the usually sleazy diamond dealer. The ring was exactly as described and a perfect fit!!! Everyone is astonished at its beauty. I dealt with Candace and Owner Howie and I highly recommend you do the same.

Howie's has been our jeweler of choice since I was a little girl living in Lansingburgh. Their service and dedication to quality is the reason that I continue to shop at Howie's. It is one of the few jewelers that continues to have the same faces greeting you when you walk through the door for the past 20 years.
