Dr. Barton is a graduate of Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She grew up north of Chattanooga, TN. She began practicing in Pensacola in 1998 and opened Woodbine Eye Care in 2000.

I’m very pleased with my first visit to Woodbine Eye. Angela helped me pick the most perfect pair of glasses. She is very kind and helpful. My eyes were dilated and I was nervous about choosing frames due to dilation. She took her time, answered my million questions and assured me the frames looked fabulous. Thank you Angela!

Went back for my annual check-up and the whole process was excellent. They're still taking precautions for COVID, so that's reassuring. Dr. Van is an excellent Optometrist! She takes time out to explain things to you, in layman's terms. She is thorough and spends time showing you the results of a really cool procedure they currently have where it takes a picture inside your eyeball. That's a simplistic explanation, but it's really cool and super high-tech. Definitely a major plus for historical data. It costs a little extra, but it's worth it. She went through that with me, showed me some floaters

We have used Woodbine Eye Care for over 10 years now. We always get appointments that work with our schedules. Everyone is always courteous and helpful. I have seen multiple doctors there over the years and each one is always professional. They also have a large selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses to choose from.

Had an eye appointment this past Tuesday at 9am. The appointment was made one year ago to have an annual cataract checkup. It was the first appointment of the day as they open at 9am. I was seated in a room and waited for the doctor for 25 minutes at which point I left the room and asked the desk clerk if the doctor was in the office. She informed me the she was with another patient who was also scheduled at 9am and the doctor would be with me shortly. I returned to the room and waited another 5 minutes and decided to leave since I had another appointment to make and I would never have been able
