Services
Brightwater Care Group has provided care services to Western Australians for more than 100 years. In 1901, when sufficient funds had been raised, construction of the first buildings began on a site bounded by Townshend and Hamersley roads and Thomas Street in Subiaco. These first buildings provided accommodation for 30 people.
At Brightwater, we stand beside our clients during times of personal change, using experience and understanding to be the support they need. We're ready for the complexities that come with ageing and disability, including dementia, Huntington's disease and acquired brain injury. Our dedicated research centre works hard behind-the-scenes, discovering innovative new ways to enable wellbeing.
At Brightwater, we offer at home aged care, residential aged care, disability support and retirement villages. Brightwater At Home provides services that support health and happiness. This includes help around the house, transport and shopping assistance, specialist health care and social activities.
Here, we value the potential that lives inside each and every one of us, no matter what that looks like. It's our ability to strive towards our best-self every day, to keep learning and to keep growing. Sure, it's not always easy, but this journey that we're on together comes with its own reward. This pursuit of independence brings with it the dignity of control over our own lives.
Brightwater Care Group Ltd was established as the Homes of Peace for the Dying and Incurable in 1898, as an initiative of Lady Madeleine Onslow and Dr Athelstan Saw. Brightwater Care Group Limited is a public company limited by guarantee and a not-for-profit organisation. A strong commitment to community service, which motivated the organisation's founders, continues to underpin all our activities.

My grandmother was approved for a care package. Christine from Brightwater came home and explained the whole process really well and even helped sorting out some issues that were not directly related to brightwaters cover - she was so lovely and genuine and made understanding the process so much better. 100% would recommend.

Brightwater has been providing services to our Mum for more than 10 years and in the early years to our Dad. I really don’t know what we’d do without them, it means my mum can remain living at home, which makes her very happy, and my brother and myself are reassured that our mum has regular visitors to give her medication, domestic services (cleaning and shopping) and making sure our Mum is keeping well and healthy. The staff and carers at Brightwater are always polite, punctual, caring and professional in every way. We can recommend their services greatly and are so grateful to have them as

Really happy with the services Brightwater have offered for some years now to my elderly mother. Helping us navigate through funding packages successfully and this has resulted in us being able to keep her at home longer. We have a wonderful coordinator, Jacqui, who does her utmost to ensure Mum gets looked after and always responds quickly to requests, is proactive with suggestions and forward planning, is a lovely person and basically looks after everything and always keeps us informed. Based on our experiences with Brightwater, I can highly recommend their services. Thank you BW.

Brightwater have been the care providers for my Dad for 4 years, during that time every person has gone above and beyond to help him in any way he needs. He has been provided exemplary nursing, Physio, personal care. The management and all staff have treated Dad and our family with dignity, respect and a very high standard of care. Nothing is too much trouble and every query has been followed up with a solution implemented very efficiently. We can not recommend Brightwater highly enough. Debbie and Family.

I've had the best services from brightwater for the last 4 years, I can be confusing but brightwater workers in all fields are patient and behave done more than anyone has for me to live in a comfortable environment in my own home. They are friendly and nothing is to much for them to see that my needs are met. As I said I'm a bit of a hard task to put up with, but they take it in their stride and accept me as I am. Thank you all brightwater staff I'd be lost without your caring😊
